Sifting from blogger to wordpress is fast and easy. This will be a add-on feature with your wordpress wb blog platform.
Just that you need to authorize wordpress to access your blogger accounts. All posts, comments, and categories will get transfered seamlessly.

I'm using DreamHost for my blog and so far so good. I have a virtual account with them and it isn't super fast, but I don't think for blogs it needs to be. The uptime has been great though and they have that 1 click install for wordpress wich was good for me as I had never installed wordpress before.

i use hostgator, one click installation with fantastico scripts, one click upgrade

they seem ok, when i madly deleted my whole blog last year, they restored it for me within an hour or so after ringing them from Australia

dreamhost have a good working relationship with wordpress by the sounds of it

I love wordpress for many reasons, hosting its a blog for free...why waste money in this economy???????

There is nothing called free lunch. By hosting your site for free you will be linking your hosting provider in your site, space to provider banners.

Hosting providers will get advertisement and Site promotion good search engine ranking in return.

My dedicated server is on Singlehop .. which I started with Midphase and moved on to VPS and then the dedicated service.

Other host providers that I personally recommend for smaller single accounts are www.globat.com/ and ace-host.net/ for reseller accounts

HostGator - A fantastic, affordable host with the greatest support team ever. Includes Wordpress as a preinstallation (along with a lot of other stuff). You can even have an account allowing multiple domains (want to share with a friend?) and unlimited ftp accounts and mySql databases.

    Highly recommend! www.hostgator.com
