If you were to start another blog today, on a theme different from your current blog, what would it be about?

For example, my wife is the world's best high-school art teacher (don't even bother debating this). I've been encouraging her to start her own blog about art instruction, and would love to be a part of getting it off the ground.

So...what would you tackle next?

The homemade brandy I've been waiting for 3 months to be ready is ready. I am straining it now. I wrote a blog on day 1, day 30, day 60 and now, I'm due for day 90 - and I'll give you a sneak preview - the crabapple brandy was UNBELIEVABLE! Wow! The apricot would be tantalizing over pancakes, but drinking it was anti-climactic.

      Sounds good

Sorry, I didn't really answer your question - I think I would do a blog on every conceivable flavor of brandy known to man. Yeah. That'd work. Sour cherry is next.

sour cherry sounds pretty awesome. Does it mail well?

Probably. I made little batches because it was my first time ever making brandy. I was so convinced that it'd be terrible that I don't even have the bottles to put it in! Wish you guys could taste this crabapple batch! I'm blown away! You cannot buy stuff like this!

Oh, and now my hubby is convinced I'll take over a bay of the garage with the stuff next year. Who's he kidding? I want BOTH bays!

Funny you should ask this today--I happen to be working on that right now. I'm not ready to divulge the subject matter, though.

Generally, I start a blog whenever I have something I want to write about that doesn't fit one of my existing blogs. This will be number 9, though a couple of the existing ones are "off the books".

That sounds very ambitious. I'm finding it hard to keep up with my humor blog (and the upcoming book it supports), plus one about my wife and another about my sister-in-law. Fortunately, the later two really only need updating when something happens to them, healthwise, so they're quiet for stretches (and this is a good thing).

I have a different view of "keeping up with" blogs than most--I have no sense of obligation to them at all. Sometimes, I mix it up and rotate posts, sometimes I get caught up and post several times a week on one and ignore the others completely. Except on rare occasion when there's some word I want to get out, I blog because I feel like it, so if I don't...I don't.

I think I would do one about the Middle Ages, if I were going to choose. But I have a feeling that for a while I'm going to have to do one about my new book.

Probably something controversial in the news unless I either A) purchase a new item that I want to review or B) finish reading the book that I am currently reading.

Either that or one of the other guest editors will submit something for me to post up.

I have received some backlash regarding my "way of parenting" and have thought about starting a parenting blog. Not sure I really have the time though.

At this moment in time I don't think I need to start another blog I have 3 listed on BC and 20 that aren't. Two of which will be back on BC when I am not doing other things. The others are private and will remain so.

    Calling out horrible grammar.

Don't know. I'm pretty limited. I only like writing aphorisms. Maybe a daily aphorism blog-post a new one each day.
    1. DailyBeerReview
      Daily is pretty rough...
    2. nothingprofound
It'd be a challenge. Problem is, I hate challenges.
    3. DailyBeerReview
NP, if you could mix drinking with daily, you'd see challenges differently

Can't resist a plug for your blog, can you?

My life as told through the books I've read.

I suppose if I were to finish my humorous sci-fi novel (getting there, but not done yet) and it took off, I might have a blog or website for news related to that.

Or maybe I'd just attach it to my existing humor site. I don't know.

As it is, I'm pretty busy with the two blogs I have. I love it, but would need to clone myself for more time to do a third.

I actually just started a new blog based on internet marketing. Some articles involving: internet marketing, affiliate marketing, niche marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, search marketing, etc. were not a good match for the Source Blogger crowd.

    Source Blogger

I would like my next blog to be a dedication to the art of cheez wiz. It would be a simple blog on utilizing cheez wiz in everyday cooking and various cheez wiz recipes. I mean, really now, everyone loves cheese wiz !
    1. brianomaracroft
      only on celery
    2. brianomaracroft
I've heard of some particularly nasty infections down below...would that be what a "cheez wiz" is all about? I think I just grossed myself out (almost)

    I would like to start a Mommy-blog.
