Love for just anything, a man, a woman, a family member, even a pet!

Well, I would give up the freedom to date other men and to do whatever I please when I please. I would give up the freedom to eat what, when, and where I want. I would give up a large degree of selfishness because my partner is entitled to consideration.
But that's what you do when you are in a love relationship: you give up a lot of ME and gain a bunch of WE.
But I would never give up my autonomy or self-respect or peace of mind.-

When you willingly enter into a committed relationship with another person, you're gaining not losing something. So any changes I had to make I wouldn't consider as giving up anything at all. -
I moved country for love and left some very good friends behind....but despite it not working out in the end, it was worth it

let me rephrase my answer a little. I would give my life,for my family,no questions asked. Now my pet not so sure about that.

I was living in Austria when I met my husband on-line. I had friends, a pretty apartment and an okay job there. I gave it all up to come to Spain to be with hubby. We are now 6 years happily married and live in Spain.-
