An Australian often described as the world's oldest blogger at 108 died today.

This is something that has crossed my mind more than once. Not the age, but the last post you'd put on your blog. Suppose you knew that it was curtains in a while; what would you post on your blog ?

Thats a good line to sign off with.

    I'll rewrite the song
    "Blowing in the wind"
    1. alexmcone
      Blowing in the wind.

Never heard of it. Is it good ?

Here is one who does not know my beloved Bob Dylan

Awww thats such a sweet last entry she wrote.

I'd probably write something cheesy like 'Don't forget me..' or something equally egotistic like that.
    1. alexmcone
      It is isnt it ?

"Don't forget me ..." IS a bit cheesy if you dont mind me saying so. There's a good chance you can get a response that says "Good riddance" which is just awfully rude.
    2. maryse
haha will I be expecting a "Good riddance" from you then? I would write it for jokes though, no better way than to end with something sarcastic.
      So long suckers!!!!!!!
    3. alexmcone
"So long suckers" ... ahh thats a great line. Kind of part-Scorcese, part 1930's gangster era. That's something I could go with.
    4. maryse
I was going to ask. You haven't answered your own question other than stealing my AWESOME lines What would you write?
    5. alexmcone
"Time to go. Was fun while it lasted. Cheerio!"
  4. mikesilvia
    I would write:

"Move along, nothing to see here."
    1. alexmcone
      Witty !
    2. alexmcone
      Double post ... dang !
    1. alexmcone
      * snort *

I'm still chuckling over that witch doctor.

I'd probably use a story. I'm not sure what about yet, though. See how many of the things I'd discussed I could slip into it...

All I know for sure is the line I would end with.

"What is remembered will never truly die."
    1. alexmcone
      True. Poetic and true.

I write myself and I did consider writing a story for the last post I'd ever do. Wouldnt be as heart warming as yours though.
    2. maryse
      @Ravyn

      Now that is good-cheesy!
    3. Ravyn
      I'm flattered.

That little line is one of the main principles behind... well, how I live my life, pretty much. Particularly how I interact and how I write. Try to remember those who do something for the world, try to be remembered, try to make sure those who matter are remembered.

    I would write:

I learned there is no such thing as too much sex

    Buzz Buzz
    1. alexmcone
      Again - true.
  7. XanthePat
    Ive been smoking the Shisha.
    1. alexmcone
I miss the Shisha ! Oh what I'd give for another one of those ...

Well, it wasn't my final blog post. I am still alive and started another blog later on.
