LOVE, has no boundaries or judgements. It embraces the totally of all things born and still unborn. It waits patiently for us to take her hand and follow her to our greatest potential, it forgives our shortcomings and speaks quietly to us when we need her most. Love creeps through our life often unnoticed but catches us as we fall. Love is our only true friend, our faithful companion that walks with us from age to age, beyond the graves.
Love is what we truly are

I would say that "true love" or unconditional love, is just that. Unconditional. No strings attached, with certain exceptions. (Abuse comes to mind).
Love in that manner however, is not all fluffy bunny huggy face kissy bear tip toe through the tulips glory and candy hearts. Love can be ferocious. Love can be angry. What love does is help you experience the bad with the good, and walk away still knowing, and still loving that person (or people) regardless of the past.
Love is a very powerful emotion that can help people overcome seemingly impossible situations, it can help people do things they never imagined they could do. it can give strength to a person when strength is needed, and patience and tenderness when that is needed. It is fluid, it grows, and it evolves with you and your relationships. -
I don't believe in 'true love', of which the term's connotation bothers me. I do, however, believe in unconditional love. @freshtunes, while this form of love is much more common between parents and children, it does still occur between several spouses and friendships. (For example, I unconditionally love my fiance - I let him be himself, don't hold him to expectation, he does the same for me, but I'd do anything for him as long as it was for his own good. Same with my childhood friend - she's lived in Germany for 4 years and we've still kept contact. And I'm sure I'll feel the same with any future children)

I feel-think true love has no conditions, no pretensions, no expectations, no interests, manipulation, coercion, contracts...
It's a free giving (and receiving), spontaneous and natural; cos True Love is our own essence, nature and being.
I feel that Love is not business or power game, but pure expression of our beings, our real nature.
Blessings
