If I were visiting your city, what are some of the restaurants, events, activities or sites(sights), that I dare not miss?
If you're ever in Houston and want a great Hamburger, I guarantee that you'll love Beck's Prime off Westhiemer. Houston is also known for it's world class Livestock and Rodeo. Energize the cowboy in you!
Houston's Museum District is second only to New York.
The Holocaust Museum Houston, is dedicated to the memory of 6 million Jews and other innocent victims of the Holocaust.
The Czech Center Museum, The Museum of Natural Science, The Health Museum and numerous others. You name it and it's located in Houston’s Museum District.
My children once dragged me to a Museum for Butterflies. It was unbelievable. A huge atrium with a tropical rain forest type environment full of different butterfly species.

Well, if you came to my favorite city/island in "Putri island" you can see Komodo Dragon {{{--- pretty rare to find these type of animals. They're bigger than humans and have a deadly-poisonous saliva. Ppl that bitten by it usually died.

If you came to my hometown Jakarta, there's a traditional food that is very popular, it's called Gado-Gado

And if you have the time to visit the tribes of "Baduy Dalam" needs to get a guide to visit them, you can see their magical trick, using dark power (so they say) They can cut their hands, tongue, and stab their neck with a samurai without feeling hurt. No scars.
Would love to put the picture here, but affraid if someone might offended by it
If you want to visit more of Java you can see the old and mystical place such as "Candi Prambanan" and "Candi Borobudur"

I'd take you to the Gold Nugget Museum, home of the world's biggest gold nugget--47 pounds--dug up in 1847. If we wanted to really make a night of it, we could first go to McDonalds for a double cheesburger (only a buck each), and attend a church country and western music shindig (3 guitars and drums).
(My little town is kinda slow.) -
