   As I teach IT for a living, I find myself solving problems all day.
   
   Probably the last one at home was:
   
   (On Vista box)
   
   My son downloaded a folder of music
   Associated the folder with iTunes
   When he tried to open it, it obviously wouldn't work
   When I went to associate the file type with a compression software I noticed there was no panel in Vista like XP, 98 etc and the only way seems to be via right click/ open with etc
   I had a look around for the windows zip software, couldn't see it
   I ran regedit, looked to see what it was associated with.
   I noticed that it was pointing to a zip.dll and not an exe file
   
   I downloaded winzip, changed the option of opening zip files to winzip
   
   Son stopped freaking out because he had his music zip folders back and openable

      thats a nice fix acousticguitarist. So you are a acoustic guitarist as well as a IT teacher and I can imagine how many problems you might be going through each day as computers create more problems than solving problems.
