What's Life All About?
Just want to know your opinion. If someone asked that, what would you say?

Living the dream? We like to think that life is all about helping others in so many myriad ways. It quite amazing what effect we each have on other people. Even things and actions that seem selfish at the time end up helping other people, like going shopping, which does help people by boosting the economy, providing jobs and feeding your family.
Then there are those entirely unselfish acts that help so many other people. It's really quite amazing what this big experiment called life is all about. -
Life is about filling up your 24 hours with as many fun and interesting things to learn about and experience, as you are able. It's about helping those who are deserving of our love and attention and it's about teaching kindness, so the world is a nicer place. I spent too many hours analyzing why we are here when I should have been living more. My advice is to live, laugh and love.

I think our lives are simply part of a domino effect (also known as the butterfly effect or the chaos theory). The only reason we live, is because a previous domino toppled us, and now we simply experience the toppling of more dominoes.

Now my reply:
Life doesn't have an actual meaning or a purpose. It is what you make of it and it is what you want it to be. And it is what the people before us have left for us to pick up. If you feel that the simple pleasures in life are all that you need, then so be it. If you're motivated by greed, then more power to you.
Happiness doesn't have an actual definition, it falls more into the category of ethics, which is personal belief and opinion. Love has no definition either. Sorry.
The meaning of life? Evolution. Making a better future. Earning. Honesty. Following your personal ethics. Following your heart. Not following the herd. Being free and independent. Speaking out. Respect for one another. A good head on your shoulders.
You get the idea. I don't believe in materialism. I do believe in experience, teaching and being taught. We can always learn a thing or two from those that have gone before us and those who will be there after us.
That's about it. If you haven't already, Take some philosophy classes. It will help you form your own opinions as to what life is really about.-
Good post riverstyxxx!
I find life like one long rail journey. People come and go. You bind with some, with others you remain a stranger. Sometimes even those who may be family may remain strangers to you, and you to them. And sometimes strangers become real close.
I find life is learning to live with youself. Treating yourself well!

For me it's about constantly learning, exploration, following your head and heart on an individual journey. It's about love, pain and sorrow and a pursuit of personal answers. Individuality and freedom to think and feel.
To me it's a gift, a privilege, and all of that with no religious ties or alleageance. And every day is a bonus. -
To make a difference, to improve humanity, to evolve human contentiousness, to seek enlightenment and to seek wholeness.
I talk about this in my blog: www.WholenessBlog.com pls check it out -
Oh, also to discover truth about how the universe works, from space to the inner most regions of our bodies and minds. To find a way to connect Spirituality, and other seemingly super natural abilities with science, to evolve science and evolve the human conciseness and only then will we finally have peace on earth I talk about this in my blog: www.WholenessBlog.com and OUR discussion forum www.WholenessForums.com pls check them out
