I dont think think you will find one that suits everybody, just dont make it to big or to small. Also make the font easy to read something aerial black or sans is fine

Usually Sans-serif looks better on sites. Sans-serif means without the squiggly things at the end of each letter. Fonts like Arial, Tahoma and Verdana are sans-serif. These three fonts are the most common fonts used for all websites. Serif fonts are fonts with the squiggly things at the end of each letter. Serif fonts include Georgia and Times New Roman. They are usually used for documents and other print, but generally not online, since they are more difficult on the eyes when it is read online.

If you are just choosing a size on the Wordpress editor, 10-12pt will be enough.

If you intend to tweak your CSS coding directly, 12-14px is the norm for sizes. You can bypass font size by just using the default called 1em. Although, line height and letter spacing matter, as well. Please try to avoid 'XXpt' fonts as they are impossible to re-size when someone clicks on 'Text Increase' on their browser.

using 1em is best, it allows the users browser to determine the display size.

XXpx as well as percentages also allow browsers to determine text size. The only one that doesn't allow for it is XXpt.
