Sure...
1) A brief History of your earthly explorations blog.
2) Post one secret that you've never published it in your blog.
3) and so and so... -

Sure
In the craft world we offer a few freebies (ususally craft items)on our blog as a celebration. Then we have a draw to win it.
To take part in your blog candy draw you can request people leave a comment and/or a link to your blogpost to advertise the fact that you are giving away free blog candy. Some people restrict entries to their own country because it can get quite expensive but others choose things that can be sent across the world more easily. In one that I did, I had some heavy craft stuff for people to win in the UK and for my overseas participants lighter items of the same value so that everyone could take part.
As another example, it will be my blogoversary in January and I will have a draw for a free piece of art work.
Do I make sense?

Yup.. Chrissy's idea's gr8. You gotta do that.
You can always send postcards.. [with a thumbnail of your blog. :-) plus the link address.. Hmm wait that's weird.]??? -
Hmmm ... write a brief recount of your past year (not years, because you have a history page) in blogging, the difference between then and now, and with images and quotes by yourself in previous posts worth posting twice.
(unless my idea came too late, then DON'T DO IT!
)
