For many people the scent of certain plants can revive memories with a vividness that nothing else can equal, for the sense of smell can be extraordinarily evocative, bringing back pictures as sharp as photographs of scenes that and left the conscious mind.
I didnt thought it by myself, i ask Uncle Google to Give me the best quote that i can use as an inspiration.-
The "every photo you take is a self-portrait" is pretty good. And, I think, true, since the photographer decides what the camera points at - potentially revealing a great deal about the photog.

My blog is called Beers For Barcelona and it isn't about Beer or Barcelona. It's about art and advertising, from political protest to lost cats, on the streets of NYC in the form of flyers, wild posting and whatever else can be stuck to a lamp post or phone kiosk.
The title comes from the headline on the flyer that inspired the collection, two bartenders trying to raise money for a trip to Spain.-

I wanted titles that described my blogs' contents. Since other people blog about history and the Mac, I had to run through a lot of title possibilities that were (1) available on Blogger and (2) not being used by another blog out there.-
But one of my blogs (Clio and ME) has a different title than its Blogger URL. That is because I want my name in the URL, in case I ever change the title. Besides, that is about my work in history, and that means my name is more relevant to historians than any blog title I choose.

RockStories is the only one that doesn't really connect clearly to its subject matter (a mix of writing and personal)--at the time that I named it I was doing primarily music writing, and the blog was just a small supplement to a website (also called RockStories) that included some of my writing, photos and quotes that hadn't made it to the final cut of my book, links to official sites of various musicians I'd interviewed or discovered in the research process, etc. -
My blog's title is "NEOAUTEUR". I'll leave you to figure out why I chose this.

LifePrints came to be in this way...I was sitting on the floor at the airport waiting for my sons to arrive home from a spring break trip to see their father. I knew I wanted to blog and I had a vague concept. I wanted to write about good and positive things because I was sick of turning on the TV and wanting to throw up by the end of the newscast in my big city.
So I started thinking about what is important to me....compassion. How do I show compassion? With my actions, the choices I make each day. Choices led to foot steps I walk during my life...leaving behind prints of where I've been and who I've known...prints are my choices..I only have this life....BINGO...LifePrints!

The domain name was chosen as a "God's Warrior" kinda thing, plus the fact that I am a pro-Israel Christian. From what I read, sicarii were Jewish killers who made trouble for the Romans during the Roman occupation of Jerusalem.
Blog itself is called "Joie de Vivre" -- the joys of life in French, to reflect the joys I experience in my walk with God.

"In Ardua Tendit" is Latin for "He has attempted difficult things". The description begins with "Why is nothing ever easy?". It's a long story, but the day I started the blog was the day I was let down yet again by a workman as part of the saga of our new oven. I was kind of angry at the time, and I spent quite some time ranting about "Why is nothing ever ****ing easy". The phrase made it into the blog in a more family-friendly format. -
The two blogs I am currently working regularly are "Shari's Gone Country" and "The Itchy Dog Blog".
Shari's Gone Country tells about my experiences here in the high desert of SW Utah, as I work with three other women to develop our little ranch-ette. I tell stories of our horses, sheep, chickens, dogs, life around Beryl, and about each other.

I named it angry dyke me because (a) I'm a dyke, (b) I'm angry at the state of a whole lot of things in the world, and (c) my writing style tends toward the snarky/angry/humorous (but "snarky/angry/humorous dyke me" seemed a bit too long for a title...).
My subtitle reads, "thoughts from an angry dyke -- sometimes of the 'gentle, angry people' variety, sometimes not so much." This is a reference to the song Singing for Our Live by Holly Near, which begins, "We are a gentle, angry people/Singing, singing for our lives..." and continues on into multiple verses with the same structure("We are a land of many colors...We are an anti-nuclear people...We are gay and straight together...We are a peaceful, loving people...).

The name of my blog is 'Irrelevant Twaddle From Yours Truly.' I chose this title as I like archaic language, which twaddle is I think, plus it's pretty non-offensive. I also chose the title as I was under the impression that people didn't actually read blogs and so I wrote the title as kind of a warning that it might be a bit dull and pointless. Fortunately though, nobody has told me otherwise yet. -

Every Man A Giant
The first time I heard the phrase "Every Man A Giant," I was being dropped off at work by my car pool. A co-worker tossed off the line as we gathered up our briefcases, a sardonic commentary on the drab and predictable day we faced as government bureaucrats. As stupid as it sounds, that casual piece of irony stayed with me. Those words became my private rallying call, a reminder that everything should matter, that everything can be meaningful. At the end of the day, isn't that something we would all like to believe? -

I investigated for a firm several years ago and they used to call me Sherlock (Holmes). Since my name is Cheryl, they changed it to Cherlock and the name just stuck. Even friends and associates use it. We have opinions about lots of issues and when we started the blog my husband said we should use my moniker. So we did! That's how we became askcherlock.com.
We don't have all the answers but we sure have lots of opinions! -
