Just curious...what's the nastiest, funniest or most inappropriate comment you've ever heard in response to a blog post?

I don't get nasty ones on my blog, apart when I have upset people on here and they get their knickers in a twist. On here is a whole other matter

I'll just have to remember to steer clear of those "trigger words"

Haha the more you read Suzie's blog, the more you will realise why 'Dick' is a trigger word for her lol

LOL that's exactly what I was going to say - except instead of knickers in a twist, panties in a bunch, but I like the English spin on it better. I really haven't gotten any negative feedback on my blog- it's all been positive. As for here on BC, it's been a mix of right on! and Whore! either way, doesn't matter - I'm here for scintilating conversation/discussion, not compliments.

Let's see... I complained on my blog about something that was going on in my life and someone hopped on saying how I should be grateful for what I have yadda, yadda, yadda. The dork didn't read my blog enough to realize that I'm an activist blogger and I blog mostly for others.

I have the same kinds of readers--NON-readers, that is; people who comment about things I distinctly say I DIDN'T do (i.e.; comments about a photo I said I didn't post, etc.) Very few people actually read.

someone got pissed off that I didn't like his precious new grist beer, which is gluten free beer and it truly sucks. Luckily the Cooking Asshole came to my defense and told him to stop acting like a political prisoner. CA added a few extra adjectives too, as you can all imagine.

I was told that I'm so boring that I should get another life, which is totally true but no-one else needed to read that, jajajaja. Funny thing is, the person that commented that reads my blog religiously.

A guy commented something along the lines that my Dad is probably a loser and didn't get laid enough in his life, which is why I'm so screwed up.

I'd rather be screwed up than be a boring person.

And I'm sure the worst of the worst comments are yet to come on my blog.

This comment, on this ( whatswrongaroundus.blogspot.com/2007/07/rape-trials-and-other-horrific.html ) post

The funny thing is that he posted the comment anonymously, but then was so proud of it that he posted a link on his MySpace page telling his friends to check out what he's said...one did, and my stats program led me straight back to him.

Sorry, I just found this today and decided to comment.
Wow, what a fucken retarded post...
Cry cry can't call someone a rapist raper or say they raped someone in a trial...or say you were rape victim.
You also can't say someone is a killer; stabber...the bs list goes on and on. Because innocent until proven guilty is the way of this country... Using words like rape and saying you were raped is for the jury to decide.
So, that would just be calling him names and guilty making him get judged by a jury, under those pretenses that he is already guilty... and that it has been proven that she has been raped (implying that there is some proof at all, besides her word GOD FORBID SHE BE LYING, you know like alot of people do when they hate someone, want money, or they just are plain crazy.) As for rape kit terminology that better say rape kit on it...because when it is i

Do you or your friend "Barb" get it. You and your friend "Barb" are 2 fucken retarded cunt bitches ...I've called you that so thus you are that. I could probably offer proof on that, but why people will believe it anyways. ;-)

      Wow, that is pretty hardcore
    2. aspotofblog
I wouldn't even find that comment insulting, as his grammar is incomprehensible.

I got an anonymous comment on my "Stepford Wife" blog that my account was "fiction and pure Hollywood." I have a feeling it was my X husband. HA!
  8. nothingprofound
My blog remarks are always positive. I get all my negative comments at home.
  9. MissSuzie
I have yet to receive any nasty comments on my blog, but do receive numerous hate mail emails. One went so far as to say I was a pitiful parent for making my kids clean the toilets (of which they p!ssed on themselves).
    1. brianomaracroft
      That can't be fun...
    2. MissSuzie
I don't let them get to me (and expected them when I started my blog). I've turned a couple into a post, so I look at it as a win-win.
    1. LGramlich
Here's a negative comment, then (so you don't feel left out); don't spam the discussions with your links. You may want to read the TOS.
    2. NJFacePainter
Is it spam if it's only once? Which I think it was, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. At any rate, no worries, won't post 'em again. But I thought it was actual, "come link to me, join me, follow me, I need numbers!" posts that were a no no.

I'll get the swing of this.
    3. NJFacePainter
Ah, here we are: "The discussion area is meant for initiating discussion. Posts that consist of nothing more than a link or “click to learn about something” will be removed. You can include links in a discussion if it is meant as a reference, furthers the discussion, or adds to the conversation.

Signature links are also not allowed."

So I think I was within proper parameters.

I cread your blog and here is my link come visit mine

I have to say, sometimes the comments are funnier than the posts. Not putting down the posts, just sometimes these one liners people come up with are hysterical.

I think that's why I like Twitter, to a degree. It forces you to be really creative when you only have a few characters to work with.
