As I recalled the worst thing I've ever smelled, I was reminded of the worst thing I've ever eaten. I'm pretty clueless when it comes to certain things.... like weird food. At the end of poker run (motorcycle ride) with my ex-boyfriend, during which I inadvertently got us lost and in Pennsylvania, we finally got to the final checkpoint and were getting our food. There was this gray looking meat and my boyfriend put some on my plate - I asked what it was, he said it was pickled roast beef. Ok, I didn't know any better.

I took a bite - the texture was rough, the taste was disgusting. He looked at me and said "this is for getting us lost and fighting with me - how's that pickled tongue?"

I spit it out, ran outside and puked. it was confirmed - it was pickled cow tongue some redneck backwoods freak had brought. bbbbbblllllllleeeeeecccccccccchhhhhhhhhhhh
