One son will be a pirate (6 yrs old)
Daughter (age 4) will be a princess.
Other son (age 8) will be a caveman.

I will, as usual, be the good witch who hands out the candy.

Thinking of going as an eighteenth century cavalier, with maybe a little pirate thrown in. Or maybe Florida artist/beach bum with some flip flops . Oh, got that on already.

It's my stag do on the same night as this halloween so I really do dread to think!

Any ideas what would transcend both?... please, no man-kini suggestions

a wild thing. my little brother was a wild thing (from the book) when he was a kid & my grandma made him a home-made costume. now that i'm bald, i'm just going to puff paint a sweat suit & put on the hat part of the old costume. that way i'll be warm and AWESOME at the same time.

last year i did tom cruise risky business-style & walking around with no pants is more liberating than i thought (that might have been the alcohol talking...)

I live in a college town. I go out as me to the local bar street, entertainment scene. Some student invariably asks, jokingly, why I am not wearing a costume? I answer flippantly: "I AM wearing a costume. I am a 23 year old art student - and I just wondered what it would be to disguise myself as an 'ol coot' How does it look?

    Least I get a smile.

I am hosting a Halloween party this year. I don't actually have a costume yet, but I'm leaning towards Aprhrodite.

This Halloween is on a Saturday, time to party! I hate when Halloween is on a work day. So no excuses, we all get out and party this Halloween. I have yet to decide what I'll wear. I am not a fan of buying a costume from a shop, and end up seeing others wearing the same thing. I once was a Red Devil (thus my avatar), and saw two other Red Devils wearing the same damn thing. NOT this year, I am doing something original.

I'm not sure what I am going to be myself. However for the Ladies my spot is running a Halloween Costume Contest.
If your costume includes high heels and you submit a picture you could win one of three prizes:
    $100 or $75 or $50 gift certificate to Heels.com
