What's your ethnicity/cultural background? What country are you blogging from?

I get a lot of questions about my ethnicity. Just last week, I finally included my location in my Blogger profile, because I realized so many people were curious (or were making incorrect assumptions).
Anyone willing to share their nationality or cultural/ethnic backgrounds?
I'm Italian-Korean-German American, blogging from northeastern United States.
How about you?

Wow... you are really mixed.. aren't u?
I am pure Taiwan/Chinese ... living in the hot hot sun state - Arizona. 110 F degree today.
I am doing my small online business... Not millionaire yet. -
I'm 100% Chinese, but a Singapore one. Even though my dad's from China, whihc means I am first generation, culturally I am very different from Chinese in China, Taiwan, Hongkong...or those in the USA. I do have a grand uncle who migrated to the USA in the 1950s and have a family there. My cousins are totally differnt from me thought I had a completely English education and worked for 25 years in the US multinational company.
Ethnicity and the original culture that comes with it is something we fight to keep...if we don't we will be swamp by the predominant culture that exist in any place. Fighting too hard to keep our culture may create friction with people around us. -
I believe I'm 100% Norwegian, but as most people from northern Norway I probably have some sami(lappish) genes.

I am 100% Puerto-Rican.
This is a great question, it is surprising to me, how many Latinos don't know HOW to identify. This is because of our dual assimilation, the many labels given to us by Americans (such as latinos and hispanics), and from self-confusion.
I was born and raised in Chicago, IL (the American part) both my parents were born and raised in Puerto-Rico (the latina part) So i identify in culture and heritage as both a Puerto-Rican and an American. Many folks like to hyphenate their dual nationality such as Latin-American, Asian-American, African-American, etc. I personally don't because it doesn't get specific enough for me, i like to put Puerto-Rico on the map, if you know what i mean.
Also i want to add, that even though i am a latina, i don't know or am completely knowleadgeable about the many different latin countries, so i dont fault others for it as well. -
Oh wow, you've got a rich and varied heritage! I won't go into specifics, but from my father's side I'm from South East Asia with links to Pakistan and perhaps way way in the past some ties to the Middle East... on my mother's side I've got European ties... and I'm happily married to a US citizen whose grandparents immigrated from another part of Europe... so here I am with ties to three languages, three religions, three continents... I consider myself a citizen of the world :-)

I was born and raised in good old England, United Kingdom but I am from a mix of British and Polish (my grandfather was polish).
Funny you should talk about this conversation as I am married to my beautiful Bulgarian wife and it is amazing how different cultures shape the perspective people have on life.
P.S We are saving to move to Bulgaria its so beautiful...although not as green as England (Bulgarians call the United Kingdom the green island). -
I'm a mixed-bag American. My heritage is Irish, Cherokee, Apache, English, German, Dutch and French... I just refer to myself as either a "mutt" or "Loco Okie-Indio" (Crazy Okie Indian)
-
LOL...this sounds a bit like me...primarily Irish/English (mom) and Scot/French Canadian/distant Cherokee (dad)
My oldest daughter said because I consider myself primarily Scot and her dad considers himself primarily Irish, that she must be a Cheap Drunk hahaha
I was born in, and have lived my entire life in, the US.

I am boring, born and breed in France, however I believe I am 25% Swiss-German. My grandfather emigrated from Switzerland to France beginning of the century.
But I am married to a Chinese-Singaporean and we leave in UK! We agreed that she keeps her Chinese name (only girls on her side, dad-in-law worried about the family name disappearing).
The result is that our possible future kids might end up with a very long last name: 12 letters for mine and luckily only 3 for hers and of course a really mixed blood! -
incinq your idea of using pictures as chicklets for Technorati is really clever.
Looks really cool and stand out a lot! I had to fav your blog. -
I'm a Malaysian 100%...born and raised. My father has an Indonesian heritage somewhat.Currently am residing in Dublin, Ireland.

I am much like Jerry stated-pure mixed American. Born in Texas, lived in Maine for 9 yrs. and now reside in Oklahoma. I am, German, with a little dutch and Irish mixed in and 1/4 Cherokee. It's so funny to see all of us blonds with blue eyes here in Oklahoma who are in fact 1/4 or 1/2 NA. and that's all folks!

I'm Black American. I HATE African-American as I've never been to Africa and applies better to Charlize Theron.
Also, it seems like some kind of lame, in terminology alone way, to get back in touch with our lost roots.
I'm blogging from DC. -
I get mistaken many times by people because of my tendency to not mention my ethnicity at the drop of a hat. I often get mistaken for a German or Scandinavian maybe because of my accent or looks. But actually I am a Nordic(Russia)-Asian(Canton) by ethnicity, Russian by nationality and I live in Switzerland. Makes it easy to be mistaken, what with my Nordic Aryan features with a smattering of Asian looks.

On aplications I write in the word 'Human' instead of checking off a race box. That's what keeps us separate. The government wants to put us into categories! Which, in my humble opinion creates separatists and promotes racisim.
Make-up: English, Scotish, Irish, French, Dutch and Cherokee-Native American. Lived in USA entire time.
Long to live in London, England, New York City, and somewhere else later on. -

Cool. I'm Irish, too!
Irish, Scots-Irish, Norwegian, German, Dutch, Swiss, Luxumbergish, and maybe a little English through the Irish line.
Also, with Dad's epicanthic fold, he thinks there might be a little Mongol horde in there somewhere way back.
But despite the accent (which has yet to be identified) I'm American born and bred. North part of the Mid-West, actually.

50% Greek, 50% some mix of Scottish and English.
- Grandfather is from Greece and grandmother's parents.
- British mix is heavier on the Scot side which either way goes back to the 1700s when they came over through VA and NC to end up in GA.
My mother-in-law is from Scotland which brings our Scottish heritage closer for our household. -

93% Irish, 7% Pennsylvania Dutch (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pennsylvania_Dutch), lol 3 guesses where I was born
Until recently I thought I was all Irish, like right off the boat Irish but apparently someone who came over before my grandparents came and stayed hooked up with and married a PA Dutch dude. I went back 9 generations, so there may be something else but I'm too lazy to dig for now
