What's your favorite "technology scandal" of all times?

Mine was the whole Napster thing back in the late 90's. Not because Napster made it available for everyone in the world to steal music, but because of what Shawn Fanning did after the fact. This guy got sued by Metallica but still had the nuts to come out on the MTV awards sporting a Metallica t-shirt. It was classic! So what's your favorite "technology scandal" and why?

Nah you're wrong, it was the invention of the club. Shoulda seen the chaos after that, suddenly any man could be a giant in his own lunchtime, a funny side effect was the invention of war which nobody anticipated but was warmly received when they realised they could get rich simply by clubbing the other guy first and stealing his stuff

The big .Com implosion, which I was caught in as well. Thousands of businesses with no plan on how to make money, but it still seemed like a good idea to buy their stock.......
