What's Your Favorite Thing About Summer?

The colors. Winter is so dull and grey, I'm completely obsessed with the colors of summer now! -
I like summer because that's when the short skirts and crop tops come out, then just a simple walk to the shops is a delightful skin filled trip. It's best to wear shades for these trips too then they don't know you're enjoying yourself at their expense. -

Bikini Watching... -
Where I live in Alaska, I like the long bright sunny (22 of the 24 hours) days. The winter months are dark (with 3 hours of twilight) so the summer days are a refreshing change, seems like no one ever sleeps in the summer here.
Plus the winters are practically monochrome outside, yet the summer is filled with green everywhere and wildflowers of all colors and shapes. -
while I agree with benny, air conditioning is my favorite. I prefer fall and winter, mostly. Spring for bike riding. Summer, I just plain hate. -

Sun... or the idea of sun... and salads... and sliced tomatoes... and sun... and hoping for sun. I think we've had our 2 weeks of summer already unfortunately!

Being warm, not having to wear several layers of clothing - I work outside and eating ice-cream - I love it. I also love the Norfolk countryside, early morning mists being burnt off by the sun, fresh green fields, golden sunsets - there's nowhere quite like Norfolk! -

the ocean and time at a quiet beach! -
Hopping on my little Honda Rebel motorcycle, or riding with ken on his, okay, I might add fishing, camping, hiking and all the other fun things associated with summer,

Being alive and healthy enough to enjoy it. The end of summer memories, which can be shared and treasured for a lifetime. -
Wearing shorts & t-shirts, sandals. Gardening & watching things grow. Playing outside with my son. Fun stuff. I don't like the really hot weather, but feel guilty when I turn on the air conditioning. Spring & Fall are actually my favourite seasons. -
The scenery here in the Greater Yellowstone area. It is breathtaking in the summer.

Being able to shed my clothes (outdoors).
starry nights
misty mornings
orcas breaching
otters rafting
frog song serenades
hoofbeats on bridle paths
moss on fallen forest logs
deer grazing on the tender green meadows
hummingbirds hovering while sipping honeysuckle nectar
shafts of sunlight sparkling between rain wet fir boughs
tidepools teaming with oceanic life while gulls reel overhead
sandstone shelves where salubrious sea lions stretch out to suntan
views of the green gulf islands sparkling like emeralds in a bracelet
views of the mountains on Vancouver Island and the mainland as well -
The scenery in West Virginia and I don't have to carry kids coats around. -
The warm sun! -
bbq, camping, beach...being outside! -
The sound of my skin peeling off of leather car seats...

Mangoes, ice cream and lazy gossips.
My most fave thing about summer has got to be the colours of summer. -
nothing as here always summer :-)
