ok... here goes..
I've just written a post on Web 2.0. The ins and outs and what to look out for in a web 2 site. Im also going to discuss further the design implications for a 'web 2' looking site, i've made a start by releasing 4 design elements that can be downloaded on my blog and use for free anywhere. they are zipped as an illustrator .ai file + there's a PDF, JPG, and EPS just incase you dont have illustrator! let me know if you find them helpful as im going to continue the posts on web 2 and the design in the weeks to come with more juicy downloads!

My latest article was about the falling price of DDR2 memory, with the standrad moving to DDR3. My advice: Go pick up a 4 GB kit while you can. There is also a link to Tom's Hardware doing a similar article...except since they are HUGE they can get the stuff for free. Seriously though, if you are on a computer that uses DDR2 memory and only have like 1GB, go pick up a 4 GB kit for $25+, you'll see a nice boost in performance
