How would you describe your fashion style (or lack thereof)?
Classic? Modern? Trendy? Vintage? Non-existant? In need of resuscitation?
Where do you like or loathe to shop and why?
Do you have a favorite article of clothing? How often does it change, if at all?
If you had the money would you ever spend $600 on a pair of shoes like the one at my blog: shoppingpr0n.wordpress.com ?

I am casual and quirky. I love lots of rich color and soft drapey materials. My favorite item of clothing is a deep cerulean jersey dress that I like to wear with cherry red sandals.
I have spent over 600 on a purse. -

I love color and layering. Have you been to MartinandOsa.com? It's the "big sister" of American Eagle. They have nice stuff!

I wear anything that I think looks good, kind of like music and how I listen to anything that I think sound goods. I just wear whatever I feel like at the time

Eclectic. I tend to vary (depending on mood) between very basic (jeans and a tee) to the wild (boots, skirts, fishnets, elaborately planned and/or deliberately abused jackets and shirts) to eccentrically "trendy" with a vintage twist (mixing slap-dash punk pieces with ultra trendy dress up bits).
Boots are almost always a constant, however. Doc's to be precise. 10 eye or taller.
I loathe almost every major retailer and designer on the market, and tend to grab my clothing from vintage shops, consignment shops, rummage sales, and freecycling. I prefer beat up, and old. -

I'm actually quite stylish--and I do it on a fairly small budget. In my theater days, I designed a lot of costumes and I am a pretty good seamstress. I sew a lot of my own clothes or alter ones that I find in the thrift stores--you can find some great fabrics in horrible designs but I can make them look great.
I have several different 'looks' in my closet--everything from black motorcyle leather jacket and jeans to velvet patchwork bojo skirts.
But I am really into comfort when I'm home--at home, I dress in shorts and tanks in the summer and sweats in the winter. -

Sort of modern trendy, multi layered for days out on the market, warmth before style at this time of year.

I spend most of my time in jeans (winter) or shorts (summer) so I enjoy dressing up for an evening out. I don't have a particular style but love color. I also like wearing a short skirt with a long coat. I only have 1 black item in my wardrobe.
Shoes are difficult: I rarely find any I like. Even if I did I wouldn't spend that much on a single pair. A camera - yes, but shoes - no way! -
Get more for less. (Cheap stuff that looks good)
You can never go wrong with black.
There is beauty in modesty.
Dark colors can still be mixed and matched to obtain contrast and variety.
Ultimately, carry yourself as a lady/gentleman.-
I prefer quality over quantity, Azure. And I try carry myself with personality and charm, rather than modesty or immodesty. Bright colors are cheery, but I look good in some dark colors, too - browns and purples. I don't have much black - as a pale faced blonde, it doesn't look very good on me. To each their own.

I was backpacking in New York City, and it was a place that i can really get more for less......... designer clothing slashed to ridiculous prices.
And yes, there is beauty in personality and charm.
From time to time, i do wear bright colors, but i never felt that it really reflects on my personality.

Pretty much the only thing that gets me out of sweatpants is my job. Otherwise, I live in a place where its winter 8 months a year and it sucks....hence the sweatpants.
In warm summer months or when I'm in Jamaica though....ALWAYS wearing cute little dresses and flip flops. That's WAAAY more my style. -

I tend to be more of a casual dresser, jeans and a T. However, I also like to dress up when going out, mini skirt, funky shoes and a nice top. Personally, I really don't like shopping but enjoy some of the finds at second hand stores like Salvation Army. Even if I had all the money in the world, I can't see myself spending $600.00 on a pair of shoes or a handbag for that matter. But then again, I am not in that situation to really understand the mindset.

I always dress according to my mood. I can't say that I have a specific style that I stick to. I can dress very business-like...or casual with sweats...some sweats nicer like Victoria Secret, Bebe, or A.F. other sweats from Walmart...sometimes I like to dress sexy-stilettos, a plunging neckline and some sleek jeans or a mini-skirt....sometimes I'll wear loose jeans, a flannel, and hiking boots...I don't like being defined by one particular style or another. Dressing is just another way of expressing myself creatively and I enjoy picking out my clothes at the beginning of the day.

I'm not a slave to fashion and I primarily shop in thrift stores. I think I fall into the classic/casual style set.
-
I tend to buy clothes that I know will look good on my body type and I purchase very few items that are up to the minute fashionable. I like well made, tailored clothing and I prefer natural fibers. I have no difficulty finding great clothes because my height is 5'6" and my weight, which is usually 140 lbs puts me in the range of sizes where there is a lot to choose from. I also like to accessorize so I add my own touches to whatever I'm wearing. At home I wear yoga clothes.

How would you describe your fashion style (or lack thereof)?
I am often referred to as being a "rockabilly" girl, so I guess I'll go with that.

I am super vintage. party dresses, pencil skirts, victory rolls, you name it. I put my own touches on classic styles
Where do you like or loathe to shop and why?
Like:
Starlets and Harlots because they have a fantastic variety of vintage styles. Thrift shops I can find awesome accessories there.
Loathe:
Any mall or major store because they never have anything I'd wear personally, though I have gone there for costumes or work wear.
Do you have a favorite article of clothing? My black pencil skirt dress with leopard print top and red belt (It's all tailored together so I guess it counts as 1)
How often does it change, if at all? It's been my favorite for three years. It may change this fall when the new BP line is launched -
