Topics: gender and sex and jealousy from evolutionary perspective, marriage and human nature, marriage as liberating or a burden, open relationships and human nature, option of open relationship and matrimony, people jealous and possessive in relationships
Do you think they work? Would it be an option for you? Or would it just cause a lot of problems within a relationship?
My take on it - as I show on my latest post - is that monogamy may be contrary to human nature, yet at the same time many people tend to be jealous and possessive and could not really handle open relationships.
However, if both parties agree it actually might be worth a try ...

It is not for me...having said that, I have Coached couples who do have an open relationship - and it is unique to the relationship - as long as both parties are open, have an agreement and clear boundaries...it works for them.
