I just discovered this electronic wireless device called Peek. The power of this innovative device is that you can email text message and ping in conjunction with one site that sends the message to 50 social media sites at once.
The cost of the device is under $50. It's subscribtion is under $20. per month. Being the least expensive gadget for wireless, it is a great in getting the word out instantly to many.
What's your thought on this gadget and on micro-blogging?
I dig micro-blogging!

I just can't imagine that there are many people who have such important things to say that they need to get it out to as many people as possible instantly.

I agree with you.

I don't even belong to 50 social networks. I have no interest in this gadget. I would not buy it and I sure as heck wouldn't pay to use it. I have now protected my tweets to get rid of the re-tweeted spam I was receiving. IMO people have gone nuts with these approaches that all amount to spamming. -
For Corporate business is one example. They are using many of the social media sites these days. Its a way quicker way to offer their updates to their employees, the customers, and the public. Mini snipets.
Networkers, Subscribers, Bands, National Social Clubs, Sports, Organizations, and so forth.
There's tons of people that would use it for special events. Micro- press release. They don't have to send to all 50 social media sites. It can be up to 50 different social media sites. It's where ever you have joined without having to go online through a pc or mobile cell phone being much more cost efficient and you can ping on the go. -
@tt: I too have gone and rid of the following spammers. The site is also ridding them too, which saves me time. I have also limited who I follow and who's following me to a minimum. I read their spammy updates enough. Now it's alot more relaxing to read value in content from others that I do know and or interact in a decent conversation.
