I believe every here does blog, and I was wondering would you like to share what are your top 3 methods to get traffic for your blogs?

Hey Alvin. My 3 top traffic sources other than direct traffic (according to Google Analytics) are:
1. Google
2. StumbleUpon
2. BlogCatalog -
1. Direct communication with other people either by email, phone, or face-to-face - one-to-one networking basically
2. Extensive linking within posts
3. Promoting online via forums/groups and offline at events -
Since my BLOG is aimed at web developers: making some meaningful comments on web development BLOGs and providing a link back to my web site.
Additionally, I am working on some in-depth articles that I will give away in eBook and/or multimedia format . . . for free, of course. -
Here's the best method I've run into so far, and I mean it quite seriously: post something good. I'm always amazed by the result. It's as if people were paying better attention than my FeedBurner subscription statistics suggest. -

what's SEO? -
SEO means Search Engine Optimization...it is a set of techniques, HTML and keywords that are coded into your website that help make it more easily searchable by spider-robots organically (not using paid keywords) used by search engines to index and rank your website or blog. SEM is a combination of SEO techniques and Search Engine Marketing. There are over 15 million websites out there now so if you want to get noticed by reaching the top 100,000 mark you can either hire me or some other SEO guru at $200/hr or start reading up on the subject. I use Google, StumbleUpon and BlogCatalog for my blogs among others. 'NUFF SED.

Write a good article.I write one and I was in the newspapers for a day.I've got 5000 visitors instantly.My problem is that I don't write in english on my blog.Check out my trafic and you will see.Second is to hunt good keywords.You have to search and try to write best articles with good keywords.I've just meet a milionar busnissmen who wants to meet me just because I write about him on my blog.I will write the article these days.This article will make me in top 10 search with his name on Google. -

I also did a traffic analysis for 2008, which you may find of interest. It lists the top 10 sources of traffic, visitor locations, & other categories along with charts to better display the info. I love statistics.
