Je me demande pourquoi un outil internet de référencement ose exclure tout autre langage que l'anglais... en quoi cela le dérangerait-il d'avoir des chinois ou des francophones ? je ne parle pas de Blogcatalog... mais d'un autre outil. Je trouve cette attitude dérangeante.

I wonder why an Internet referral dares exclude any language other than English ... How Chinese or French are a problem ? I do not mean Blogcatalog ... But another tool. I find this disturbing attitude.

I can see making English the primary language, but excluding all others? That doesn't seem fair...

One possible reason: if the site wants to know what the content is, it might not be able to handle anything other than English.

actually translation tools does not work very well..

for a good translation, you need human who is bilingual

  There has to be something they can offer. I would think the more language options offered, the better response the site would get. But as stoneman said...if they can't handle it, what are they to do?

en fait, ce n'est pas vraiment nécessaire qu'ils traduisent... s'il y a un blog francophone, les francophones cliqueront dessus... où est le problème ?

  If I were running a site for whose content I was legally responsible, I might want to know what content is on that site. Perhaps I can't read French. What then? Requiring English might be a logical, if unfortunate step.

Until google can translate the above (universal language of money, poker and Ascii Art) ... perhaps it is good to keep things in English for now. When in Rome, do what the Romans do. When on the internet .. do what most of the internet do.
