I actually had to think about this one for myself.
Not that I never cry, it's just been a while (good thing)
I actually teared a little watching Lost the other day (episode about Soon Yi etc.), and I cried almost throughout the whole movie Diving Bell & The Butterfly a month ago.

As for crying (real situation crying), I think it's been.... oh yeah maybe a month ago... (rather not say)

The last time I cried (real situation) was when I heard my dad was ok after an open heart surgery. I guess the relief just over came me.

Mmmm ... I cant remember the last time I cried over a movie ... oh yes now I can ... I saw ET a couple of months ago. made me remember my childhood and the fun days I had.

have you ver wondered how they never show ET anywhere ever? it was SO HUGE when I was a kid, I never ever caught it on tv or saw it in video stores.

i really meant bad situation crying, but im glad you mentioned that, must have been such an emotional release, bless you all brother

I am a man of no tears. It's tough as at times when i really want to cry, there is still no tears. The last time i really cried was many years back when i encountered the first failed relationship.

if you really want to cry, why not just cry?
      but that's cool.
---failed relationships can be even harder than a relative passing away

I think after the failed relationship, i no longer have tears or rather its simply too hard for me to cry. I wish i can.

i hear ya, alot of things have desensitized me (and the majority of been bad relationships)
..but i proudly still have the ability to cry like a b1tch!

I teared up reading in the last third of Obama's speech from last Tuesday on race. I also teared up watching during the last 15 minutes of August Rush on Thursday. Not sure that counts as crying.

    Today!

A tremendous feeling of gratitude, humility and respect.

I have learned not to take certain things for granted.

You never know how long these very special things in your life will be around.

Honestly, the last time I cried was yesterday when I ran across a web site that is by a man named Darrel. He writes about the illness that took his wife's life after 24 years of marriage. Finely written, it just made me think about the things in life that are so precious to us and how we forget this lesson in the daily grind of what we call life. I was very moved.

Cried.....Mid January due to my estranged father never wanting anything to do with me yet still seeing all my other siblings as he blames my parents divorce on me...it still hurts.

I never cry at films or TV programs but Im an emotional fella at heart so it doesnt take much.

The last time I cried was when my youngest son spilled a cup of boiling water on his chest, burning the skin right off.

Last week, my grand father's funeral.

I wrote some words and said them at the service. I almost held it together until I came to say goodbye at the end.

Last night. Every other weekend, I get my kids. The sunday night that they go back home is always a little sad. I normally cry a little on the drive back. I say normally but I'm not sure if it is normal.

      I'm sorry guy.

      That's tough.
  15. Fashionisto

    1. ekim941
This isn't what I signed up for when I became a father. I wanted to raise my kids not visit them every other weekend.

I teared up a bit watching a clip about illiteracy, learning disabilities and learning around the world.
  18. Fashionisto
what i mean is, because of the situation? because of the lost family relationship...u may answer "none of ur business'
    1. ekim941
The unfairness of it all. All the things I did right didn't matter. Someone better (or different) came along and my whole family was gone.
    2. Fashionisto
thank you so much for your honesty. you really thought about the question and answered it perfectly for me, thanks!
    3. ekim941

2 weeks ago when my *baby* who is a freshman in college got on the plane and went back to school--3,000 miles away. You don't have to tell me, it's selfish, I know.

Ohhh I forgot---my bad--- Friday...when I learned she got the only A in the class on a paper I helped her write. Which reminded me why I put her on that plane in the first place.

@ekim941 Your kids are very lucky to have a Dad like you. My kids only saw their Dad 3 times a year.

I'll admit it...I cried when Curlin lost the Belmont. I just wanted it sooooooo bad, and he came sooooooo close. I still see it sometimes in my sleep. I was happy to see Rags to Riches win as a filly, but I couldn't stomach Curlin losing. Thank god he came back to win the Classic.
