   You need to paste the code from this page www.ash1design.com/indexold.html (view the source code) (edited with your details in and paste) into the top of your template code, between the Head and Body just below your page title.
   
   this should improve your ranking as the search spider will know exactly what your blog is about.

      I think the XML doesn't allow people to add metatags on Blogger... I've been trying that for several times but can't... Best bet is to put your keywords in your title tags which is the first words that any crawler looks at anyways...

   you should make sure you have meta tags in your page as this will improve your ranking. But be aware your Search engine ranking wont improve over night, it takes time to build up but meta date will improve this. also the more external url links you have on your blog to other related sites will also improve your ranking as the search engine will notice that you link to other sites related to the subject of yours.

   using working canadian
   #16 on Google
   both MSN and ChaCha
   over 5 pages deep and still no sign!
   
   2 months into my blog the biggest issue I find is with the ODP once your in there your set but 1.5 months and still no listing including a letter to the editor oh well!

      One has to make sure that target keywords are included in the Title tag... Very important because that's the first thing the robots read when they go through your site...
      
      There's a lot of SEO gurus out here... go check their threads...

   Rexie is the name of one

   And I come out #7 for Google
   if I enter 'Jaya', my first
   name.

    Using google:
    fruitspecies - number 1 plus the whole page refer about my blog
    fruit species - number 3
    
    My blog is only 3 weeks old. Very please with the results
