If you have an idea - any idea - then write it on your blog but don't publish it - simply save it. Time will come when the whole thing emerges in your mind. Or when you run out of ideas there's a whole saved pile of them to fire your imagination once again...just one way of finding things to write about.

most of my posts are inspired by the interactions i have with clients and prospects. (although i would never identify them of course)

And yes, I am as harsh with my clients as I am on the blog.

My family's passion for traditional Greek cookery is my inspiration.

I get my Inspriration from Montana. It gets shipped in over night. Sure the variety might not be there, but if you place a large enough order, they ship it for free.

I have no idea why I aspire to blogging excellence. I've been writing all my life--the printed word (7,000,000 words in print)--yet I trudge on with this blogging nonsense. Stupid? Is it straight jacket time for me? I'm tired.

I blog all my friend and family members health questions. It creates a useful archive for my patients while providing a special service to my loved ones. I write each article as if it is directed to that one person, and I have found that when other people with the same problem stop by and read it, it somehow resonates with them a bit more because of the personalized feel to it. I also really want to promote naturopathic medicine because not many people know about it or have access to it yet, even though it is simply the tradition of nature cure medicine combined with the latest research on therapeutic herbs and foods.

It has changed my life, my thinking...everything about me for the better, and I can only hope to share a little bit of the light I have been blessed with for the enjoyment and ease of others.

I scour the internet, magazines, newspaper, follow leads given to me by other people to find the subjects, organizations and people I write about. That's the fun part...trudging through all the negativity to find the positive story or even a positive spark for a story.

    I leave the house.

Something is bound to happen that will be blog worthy.

I try to diversify my routine. Think differently, sit different places, go different way. And read different books. Talk to dfferent people.

Because my blog started as a showcase for my cards, in the beginning I just blogged about how I made them and a few observations along the way.
Then as I got a few visitors, it became more interactive and I started to include photographs which can be of the countryside, (remote controlled flying -another hobby), a bit about places I visit. I do so many things, I never seem to run out of material, just the time to blog about it!Then I started to paint watercolours again, so included some step by step pictures and I take so many photographs of animals and flowers for reference, they get included too...
I guess it has just turned into a personal blog now!!!!
