Google is god online. What search terms are you working on? Which ones have you broke thru to the front page of google? I got a few nice "make money online" terms to show. www.bloggernoob.com/google-is-helping-me-make-money-blogging/09/

Any good terms your blog shows that you want to share?

I'm ranked number one for 'metro dude', right after a couple of youtube videos, but this probably doesn't mean much coz its just a nickname.

I don't really target particular terms, but I have quite a few odd terms on the front page that drive a surprising amount of traffic. For instance:

    Pay Half Stores
    old dog won't eat
    what's wrong with my body
    school bus rape
  4. jafabrit
For effigy dolls #2 resin painting #2
yarn bombing I show up on page two
    yellow springs artists page two

    I guess I can't complain

Poulet tchoupitoulas puts me third (4th if you count sub categories), which is really cool since it's Emeril's recipe!

I have lots front page for Disney--of course! I like pulling rank because I have a go dot com address

I was lucky and bagged a good domain name for my blog - so it ranks #1 which really pleases me given it could be swallowed up by a whole heap of Scotch Whisky advertising pages...

Google has gone wacky in the last few months.

My page that sells the book "The Cosmic Pulse of Life" does not even get first page ranking and we are the publisher of the book.

Amazon just did a purge and dumped us as from their sellers list so now as the original publisher we can't distribute through Amazon.com. This would not be terrible if Amazon did not get all the google top ranking for searches on this book title.

If you do business through Amazon make sure you bend over backwards for your worst customers because any complaints go against you. I sell books to crazy people who think UFO's are real and abducting them from their beds at night so you can imagine what happens when you actually have a shipping delay...

I love odd ideas and will not be detered...hahaha

I am getting a #1 ranking with the search term "Cosmic Engineer"
    1. OzScot
Hey Shem! ROFLMAO! I'm one of those crazy people - not that I get paranoid when books don't appear - I even own three or four UFO/Paranormal sites where you would be welcome to post a link and a blurb about your book...just ask and I'll give you the links as I don't want to be thought of as plugging my sites here...

      Ben

My website designer www.somethingcreativeinc.com obviously knows a lot more about internet positioning than I do!

I tend to rank pretty high if not no. 1 for most of the stuff I write, but I choose things that are interesting to me.
So I had the no.1 "salt n pepa on vh1" piece while the show was on, same with my
"half man half tree" piece and my
"man with the worst facial tumors ever" and my
    "man with no face" piece
"why bother losing weight" piece and so and and so on.

Maybe my title choices are good. So from here on out I'm going to get into the "money making" part of blogging and see if I can have the same luck as I compete with the pros.
    1. bloggernoob
yeah, longer search terms, especially ultra specific ones get high billing. If i write a post called, "spiderboy and batgirl" i usually get the #1 spot on google.
