    5. lotusb
Awww....I can't think of anymore references to Kansas, so your gonna just have to accept that one.

    6. dbowles1017
How about... Ill your Superman, and you can be my Lois Lane? The Smallville years though.
    7. lotusb
Hmm... ok I can swallow that. I'll be your Lois Lane...
    8. dbowles1017
Is that the only thing you can swallow?
    9. lotusb
      Absolutely not....
    10. dbowles1017
      Good to know

Can I be the white cream between your oreo?

The vanilla ice cream to your chocolate cookie/cake?
    11. lotusb
You can put your cream between my oreo, and anywhere else on my cookie you want to...
    12. dbowles1017
Im hungry now... I'm going to have to go downtown and pick up something up
    13. lotusb
U mean like a hooker or like a bag of Oreo cookies...?
    14. dbowles1017
Like some ice cream sammichs or oreos. I can't afford hookers
    15. lotusb
You should hit up Sam's Club during Black Friday...they give away a free hooker with a family size drum of Oreo cookies.
    16. dbowles1017
I won't be hungry for oreo's then though.
    17. lotusb
      Well damn....
    18. dbowles1017
Yeah, but don't worry. Your cookie can be on the menu for a long time.
    19. lotusb

    20. dbowles1017

    1. lotusb
      Ahh...Costa Mesa...

      Lotta goats there?
    2. InnocentOwner
Every July there are. Orange County Fair is held here. Lots of goats go to it.
  4. sjtavo
Northeastern Ohio, podunk town that is so ass-backwards they rescheduled Trick or Treat to a week earlier so it wouldn't compete with a high school football rivalry game.
    1. lotusb
I lived in Marrietta (sp) when I was a little girl. I also have family from Colombus.
    2. sjtavo
I'm so sorry - LOL Marietta - now that there be some REDnecks!!
    3. lotusb
Yep! The black community of Marrieta spanned the entire space of my grandparents property.
    4. sjtavo
      hahahahahahahahaha!!!!

one of my dearest friends is from there - and she is from a hillbilly family like no other - but what's awesome about those rednecks is that they totally accept her son....who is 20, gay and dating a little black boy (who also happens to be my step-cousin!) they take blood over all else whether they like it or not - God love 'em for it
    5. lotusb
Yes, I'd say compared to the south they are a whole different breed up there. My family actually ended up there because my great great grandparents were unable to marry or even live together in the south (he was black she was white/German), so they had to relocate to start their family. Moved to Ohio.
  5. brianomaracroft
In a small town outside Aurora, IL, which is in turn not too far from Chicago, IL
    1. lotusb
Cool...so if I need a place to crash for the Taste of Chicago...I'm good with your place?
    2. brianomaracroft
We can set up a BlogCatalog travel service, where everyone who moves around has a BC member's home to stay in.
    3. lotusb
HEY that's not a bad idea!!
    4. Floormodel
we were headed to Chicago for the jukeshow in a couple weeks but work put an end to it. we'll be there for the spring show though
    5. brianomaracroft
      What's a jukeshow?
  6. Deray28
Can you guess? It is 90 degrees in November...

    Tucson, AZ.
    1. lotusb
I heard you guys have like killer wild pigs out there...

      Is this true??
    2. Deray28
We have Jabalinas which are wild pigs, but they don't kill anyone, as far as I know. We have to be more aware of rattle-snakes, wild-cats or scorpions.
    3. lotusb
Yikes....I went to AZ once but don't remember what the wildlife was like. I thought the Houston cockroaches were bad!
    4. Deray28
The desert is a harsh place, lots of nasty critters
  7. fazrul

    2. nothingprofound
Manhattan, right? That's a 5 hour drive away.
    3. lotusb
Well, Brooklyn...but still you're at least in the same state.
    4. nothingprofound
Both my wife and I are originally from Brooklyn. Park Slope and Bensonhurst, respectively.
    5. lotusb
I lived in Crown Heights and Bed Stuy...My new place is just down a bit from Crown Heights towards Pratt.
    6. MidwestMom
My sister used to live in Park Slope and work at the library near Prospect park. It's a great place -- very Sesame Street.

But Ithaca is wonderful, too. You've got great topography now, NP.
    1. lotusb
      Another neighbor!
    2. Floormodel
and we're planning a trip to NYC in the spring too
    3. lotusb
Well, well well....we should plan a meet!
  10. amybyrd21

    1. lotusb
Lol...Canada aint so bad from what I hear!
    2. nothingprofound
Amy-do you live anywhere near Chatanooga? My father-in-law used to own a general store in Pikeville.
    3. lotusb
I had no idea Chatanooga was a real place...always though it was just a made up place for the song.."Pardon me boys...is this the Chatanooga choo-choo..?"
    4. amybyrd21
I live 2 hours from Nashville, about 3 to 4 hours from chattanooga and 15 minuets from Florence Alabama. I am near Lawrenceburg Tn if that helps 19 miles from the city limits
  11. MissSuzie
    Hanover, VA

    Hopefully moving very soon.
    1. lotusb
      Where to?
    2. MissSuzie
Not sure yet. The possibilities are endless.
    3. lotusb
YAY!!! New adventures!! (move to NY)
    4. MidwestMom
Maybe you'll make it all the way to Clifton. (Ha.)

I lived for a few years in Herndon, VA (fairfax county). It wasn't the most interesting part of Virginia, but I sure enjoyed it.
  12. Richer44
    Whitehorse, Yukon Territory, Canada!

Where we had 2 feet of snow for Halloween! I am tired of shoveling already it is November 3rd! This can't be good! I will take some of that nice Tuscon weather right now!
    1. lotusb
Whew! Lots of snow....we got nothing but rain or sunshine here.... But I'd take snow over the roaches anyday.
    2. brianomaracroft
I'm dying to see the Yukon. The closest I got to the north of Canada was Fort McMurray, Alberta, years ago.
    3. offendedblogger
I'm quite lucky to have in-laws in Las Vegas so we get to escape the arctic quite often, otherwise I'd go nutty here all winter.
    4. Richer44
I think I would take snow over roaches as well!

@Brian - Why did you go to Fort McMurray? Were you in the oil business?

@offended - You are lucky to be able to head south for awhile. I need a set up like that!
  13. offendedblogger
At the edge of the Grand Tetons:

    It sucks.

    Really.

    1. lotusb
I'm made because my browser at work won't show your pic....

Now I don't know if your being sarcastic or not

      OH!! There it is!!

IS that really where you LIVE??
    2. nothingprofound
Looks terrible! What are those funny looking buildings in the distance shooting off all that white smoke?

No fair. You switched photos on me.
    3. offendedblogger
Just Google "Grand Tetons" or look at my Flickr www.flickr.com/photos/25050110@N03/ haha.

It's lovely here. Don't tell anyone!
    4. offendedblogger
Yep, this is my piece of heaven. I'm also close to Yellowstone park, which EVERYONE must visit at least once in their lifetime.
    5. lotusb
I went to Wyoming once when I was a kid...always wanted to go back you guys have some gorgeous terrain.
    6. offendedblogger
I'm on the Idaho side, just at the Wyo border but I've lived in Wyo and Montana. Beautiful country it all is.

I especially loved living up by Glacier National Park in northern Montana.
    7. Richer44
I have never been so envious in my life. This is absolutely spectacular! Would you like to trade places for the winter??
    8. MidwestMom
Wouldn't that be the decolletage of the Grand Tetons??

      (Your photo is beautiful.)
  14. Mike42lan
I live in the Socialist Peoples Republic of Maryland. We have a pretty high tax rate, businesses' are leaving the state to go to Delaware. We are losing jobs hand over foot.
    1. Norski
This probably won't make you feel any better - but it's nice to know that Minnesota isn't the worst state for scaring away employers.
  15. russianmodels
    Ontario, Canada (near Toronto)

    4. lotusb
What the heck is a woolly back??
    5. crpitt
      Just unnaturally hairy... lol

Wooly back = Someone who lives near Liverpool, but is not from Liverpool. I am sure they are trying to imply that sheep shagging is involved, but the only sheep round here are in the butchers.
  17. DailyBeerReview
Halfway between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I don't want to confuse you with the super many little cities and towns.

90 today, weather sucks, I want to move. Where do you recommend, East Coastish temperate year round? Don't say NC. Although NC is a big probability, you gotta be more specific.
    1. lotusb
      What part?

    Glen
    1. crpitt
There was a man from kent,
      whose nob was rather bent,
      to save himself trouble,
      he put it in double,
and instead of coming he went.

  25. MidwestMom
I live in the flatlands of the agricultural Midwest. Due West of Indianapolis, just across the border of Illinois.

We have a junior college and minor league baseball team. We have a hunting season for most small mammals, but as of this week no recycling. The only museums we have in town are the county historical museum and the War museum. Abraham Lincoln practiced law in our town for about 5 minutes, so naturally there are bronze plaques commemorating that fact scattered around town.
    1. Deray28
jajajaja that Abraham Lincoln comment cracked me up!
    2. MidwestMom
      Didn't he live in Arizona?!?

...Pity. You must not have very many plaques then.
    3. Deray28
I have no idea if he lived in AZ. If he did he never came to the UofA given the lack of plaques or halls/buildings named after him, jajajaja.

We have, however, a hall named "Tommy Hilfiger", how about that?
    4. MidwestMom
My my... President Hilfiger was one of my favorites. He championed freedom of sportswear, am I right?
    5. Deray28
Correct! He introduced the law that says that both men and women can wear polo-shirts

I actually laughed when I saw that classroom. I had to go and see it again, I didn't believe it, jajajaja.

I live on a big blue marble. The resources are being consumed terribly fast though by an infestation of animal known as humans. I was born and raised on this marble, and I don't know of another marble I can occupy, so I am currently restricted to its compounds.
    1. Firkroy
Ah common give it a break for just a second will ya. (Although I do agree with 98.7% of what you say) You still live in some town someplace
    2. MidwestMom
Why don't you ask Her Noodleship for one?

(Is Rockford on the Marble?? Who knew?!?)
    3. morgantj
Her Noodleship obviously has other plans for me. And of course Rockford is on this marble. What other life inhabiting marble could it be on?
