Where does one find a community of Painters Around Here

Hi, I am new and enrolled in Arts&Artists thinking that would be for Fine Arts, right? Wrong, the only place I seemed to belong there was Mixed Medium. I'd rather see a catagory for Painters, all medium, oil, acrylic, watercolor, I don't care, but what I am seeing is way too general. Looked over in Arts&Entertainment and seemed to find some painters under Artists, but that doesn't seem to fit Fine Arts either. . . I don't think of Fine Arts as Entertainment. Any suggestions?

The only category I fit under is mixed media but I see that it includes blogs that are not focused on the doing/creating of visual art. I didn't see a painting category either Not sure why because that would seem obvious wouldn't it.

I typed "painting" into the BC Directory search box and this was the result

By examining the meta descriptions for each blog I can isolate the ones that are focused on various types of painting. I see blog descriptions for acrylic on canvas, oil painting, acrylic painting, watercolor painting, drawing and painting with watercolors, digital illustration, drawing and painting techniques, etc. Does this help?

Hi, thank you for comments. Do not know my way around here yet but have kinda caught on to the need of tags. Will try to focuse more on those. Is there a way to contack people in charge around here at all? As jafabrit said, would seem a painting category would ne an obvious one to have under Art & Artists. Would love to bring this to someones attention.
