Any other writers/bloggers here have original material published somewhere other than you own blog or someone else's that you know?

Let's hear some success stories of breaking in to other media outlets! I know there have to be some on BlogCatalog.

My humor columns have been picked up by Reuters, the Chicago Sun-Times, and Nielsen.

Awww, that's awesome to hear of your achievements. That's rad. I hope to somehow be published some day, but we'll see. :/ Maybe then I can come back here and have some stuff to list. I need to figure out how to go about getting published, though. :/

A couple of literary journals with short stories, an article in "Romantic Homes" Magazine, and a few Blogburst placements with Reuters, the Sun-Times and a Florida newspaper which currently eludes me.

    Congratulations for you!

I wrote a textbook for Copley Publishing (Introduction to Psychology) and I also contributed a chapter for the ABC-CLIO reference series, "Adolescence in America." Additionally, I have several articls published in scholarly journals. But these are all academic endeavors.

Right now, I am editing my memoir (which I finished about 3 months ago) and of course, I have my blog. I did run across an agent through my blog who wants to represent my memoir, which is great--although I have 2 other contacts for this as well.

I used to write for multiple tech magazines, in another life. I am a regular contributor to wikitravel, as well:

I am the docent all of Colorado at wikitravel. Like BC, it's another Internet 2.0 community that I enjoy immensely.
