Almost my bedtime, Sam. 11pm in New York. Just finished watching an old classic film, Intermezzo, with my wife.
-
An illicit romance between a world famous violinist and a young piano student. There are two versions, both starring Ingrid Bergman. Both are beautifully filmed and the dialogue is quite intelligent.

I have to agree with sam here. Some (not all) more aged films have something, I can't really pin point it either, but it may have to do with pacing and letting the story fold out, instead of rushing it. There are some great directors nowadays too, but maybe in the old days they didn't have the sufficient equipment to rush things, maybe, maybe..

I am sorry Sam if I can't be around too much for a while. I discontinue with my DSL provider and is looking for a better deal. There have been issues when we have an outage. when i call to ask they tell me 'we have an ouage'. i asked "until when"? the response? "Oh well, we don't have a specific timeframe yet but our engineering department is working on it" Hmmp! an outage for three days That's too much.

I'm here now. I've been sick all weekend and sleeping off and on. Came here once yesterday but it said site was down so I went back to bed.

@Sam...You think I have time for this _hit?
I'm actually making money with my Eyewear business and now only log in here once a month. Thank God because this place was starting to bore and annoy me.
(see ya next month )

There one happening over India and Asia at the moment supposed to be 6mins long or something like that, it'll be the longest until the year 2213.
Theres a scare surrounding it saying that its gonna effect the techtonic plates around Japan and cause earthquakes and tsunamis that will reach even us down at the bottom of the planet-
Don't you just love the fear mongering....although over the next 3-4 years there will be an increase in extreme geological, meteorological, cosmological interactions causing intense weather, planetary plate shifting disruptions, extreme storms, and possibly even mass power outages and oh yea, bizarre human behavior...have you noticed it already in some people? Cyclical patterns at a time of culmination always create a bit of chaos.

No kidding. Yeah, we are all pretty much talking to ourselves. But it is summer. Summer is downtime for blogging. I find it very hard to open my laptop this time of year.

Sam, we have a game. We can try to guess what region of the world you live in. It is 11 pm here in Chicago, USA, but 4 pm in the afternoon by you. You must be south of the equator for it to be winter. Factor in the big time difference. Hmm. It is late and I can’t figure it out. Anybody else guess where Sam lives?
-
Ok, more clues. A patriotic minority. This is not helping me any! I need a map. And I am bad with figuring out time in different regions.
-
Hmmm. I am drawing a blank. Fruit…apple, fig, pear, orange, kiwi, strawberry. Nope, that doesn’t work. Flightless nocturnal bird...even a bigger blank.
Can anyone else explain these clues? -

Yep, we get all sorts. I never know what brand to get though. I dont drink it that often as it's the one drink that really kicks my a$$
Last time I did a tequilla binge I woke up in a dress on the kitchen floor, next to the fridge door which I'll pulled off the hinges, there and there were frozen peas and corn scattered throughout the house and potato wedges in the bottom of the shower.
And i can safely and honestly say I dont remember a thing that happened that night haha.
I was walking fine though, so no risk of violation

here for a minute now I am gone, papers to grade lessons to write, damn wish I had a job that I left at work at the end of the day! But the paid 90 summer vacations are sweet so I should n't complain
-
back in hospital last week....again, but this time they gave us some medication that actually seems to be working - only took 3 visits to the hospital for them to get something right
-
stressful being the key word, only a week out from the wedding/honeymoon and we want her well enough to be the flower girl and dont want her having an attack while we're away either. So far so good though shes doing fine, the meds are working and they dont make her hyperactive either like the last lot did, so im happy.
