Where is Heaven?

Let's see the forum search box turns up all these threads on discussions about a mythical heaven and here you are asking bloggers where it is.

Yes, there are over 40 pages that remarkably you could not find and read www.blogcatalog.com/discuss/search.php?q=heaven

There's no need to read cereal boxes and try to obtain the answers to the unanswerable from them. You could ask a rabbi, pastor, priest or other religious leader of your choice this question. It would seem like a better place to to start as only religious people believe that such a place exists beyond the imagination.

If neither your cereal box nor religious consultants can answer you then I suggest that you could obtain a crystal ball and stare into it silently offline rather than posting this to the forum.

Found another great site that talks about this subject...here's a sampling:

The Bible, however, says that Jesus is building mansions in heaven for those who accept salvation. Therefore it must be a tangible material place. Vineyards must exist in heaven. Before Jesus went to heaven he told his disciples: "But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom." (Matthew 26:29) The Bible refers to heaven as a country (Hebrews 11:16).

though I am not a religious type there is a lot of the bible gosples that if understood past the literal interpretation tells you exactly where heaven is. Most people do not realize that Jesus was a meta physician. He was the original new age guru. Here is where he was trying to tell people where heaven is:

Luke 17:20-21 “…The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, here it is, or there it is, because the kingdom of God is WHITHIN YOU.”

Literally the religious have interpreted heaven as being a literal place. In fact that has been a misinterpretation.

Jesus says God does not come with careful observation. in other words God can not be seen or pointed to as if to say there it is, or here it is. The religious take a scientific view of experiencing God. Most people define "faith" as belief in things unseen. In other words if one can not see it then you just have to have faith that it exist. Science says nothing is real unless you can experience it with your five senses. If you take this point of view, then faith is all you will ever have.

Jesus says God can not be seen but his kingdom is WITHIN YOU. Meaning you can not see God but you can experience him. Once you understand your personal experience of what that kingdom means for you then faith is irrelevant. Heaven is inside you just as God is inside you and every part of creation.

Heaven is a state of mind. It can not be seen or touched. That is what Jesus meant when you look beneath his literal words.

ok so let us leave the Jesus discussion alone. Heaven is....New Age music. Now I can set back and relax...listen to heavenly voices...and that's heaven. the most practical way to get it. And oh caramel fudge,wonder woman reruns,all episodes of Supernatural,the whispy vocal overdubs of Enya and good massage...those are faces of heaven.

  Actually celticmusicfan, the question that was asked was where IS heaven? I simply used a teacher that happened to be biblical to illustrate a spiritual concept of connecting to the mass idea of heaven. Soooo, it was not a Jesus discussion per se, I used his concept in the context of the question.
