I've just added a list of my 10 top "Must Visit" holiday/vacation locations to my blog

1. Christmas shopping in New York
2. The Trans-Siberian Railway
3. Tokyo - Japan
4. The Great Wall of China
5. Whale Watching - Vancouver Island
6. The Galapagos Islands
7. Aurora Borealis - Greenland
8. Bran Castle - Transilvania
9. Wildebeest Migration - Serenghetti
10. Macha Picchu - Peru
(please go to grahamettridge.com to find out why.)

My discussion point is:

Have you got a favorite dream location that you would place on top of your list? and if Yes, why?

I would be really interested to hear from you.

Many thanks ~ Graham

I would put Ireland at the top of my list. I've always wanted to visit there (maybe because one of my main nationalities is Irish.) I love the history and the romance of the place. I know it rains alot, but I don't care.

Prv31WomanWB, Great choice. I am ashamed to admit that even though I only live a couple of hours away from Ireland, I have never been. However, I am pleased to say that I am going there for a weekend in July. I'll be sure to add a post about it when I come back.

Iceland. I took a class in Icelandic sagas and loved the history, the people, the culture... I want to see the Land of Fire and Ice with my own eyes rather than through words on a page!

Willow, ahhhh bathing in the natural hot springs, the snow, the waterfalls..sooo much is there to be enjoyed (however, I hear that the food and drink is really expensive). Super choice!!!

I just went to mine: Egypt! I'd been wanting to go since I was in 2nd grade. Now where?!

Travelbetty, WOW! Egypt...what a beautiful place. I did a trek through Egypt a few years ago. I look forward to reading about your experiences.

Nothing like skeggy to get that holiday feeling, home of buttlins, hi-de-hi, chip shop alley, pandas palace, messy beach, donkey rides, fantasy island, I could go on

What a lovely place. I try and visit London at least once a month on a Friday evening after work. I just love the electricity of the atmosphere, the department stores, the variety of food, the street artisits, the history...goodness I could go on and on!!!! If and when you go, you must make sure you go to the 'West End" to see a show...There's nothing else like it on this planet (except Broadway perhaps)!!!!!!

Oh, I was lucky enough to visit London. It was such a memorable trip. My friend was barely able to pry me out of the Tate Museum. :-)

Currently on the top of my list: New Zealand. Haven't been there yet, but hope to visit within the next 6-12 mos.

Oh yes....New Zealand. Ever since watching the 'Lord Of The Rings' trilogy, I have wanted to travel to New Zealand. It looks so beautiful with so many different climates.
