We don't do Thanksgiving in South Africa. It will just be another Thursday.

Same here, in the Dominican Republic. Yet another Thursday

I'll be headed to visit my dad in Florida-- if I can ever wrap up all the work "emergencies" that seem to have come up today, that is.

Have a lovely first turkey day! I hope you enjoy it.

Really? Well hope you had a safe trip. Well, I enjoyed eating turkey but not as much as I enjoy eating chicken.

Thankgiving, I'll be going to Sylvia's famous soulfood spot in Harlem with my room mate. Yum yum!

I hope you enjoy your turkey, marlyms. I like the dark meat part of it the best. For me, the white meat is kinda dry, no matter how you cook the turkey.

I've already had my Thanksgiving. My sister hosted Hippie Thanksgiving this past Saturday. Hippie Thanksgiving is a something all of our friends participate in every year. We all take turns hosting it. Everyone contributes. You can donate food, alcohol, wood for a bonfire, disposable cups and plates or whatever to the cause. It's fun. We sometimes play games that we've made up. We usually end up getting drunk, telling funny stories and laughing a lot. Sometimes that's the only time we get to see each other due to lack of time or the distance we live apart.

Well, this getting pretty long. And there are some details I probably shouldn't include here. Ha ha. If you care to read more about our Hippie Thanksgiving, here's a link for it: psychocarnival.blogspot.com/2008/11/watching-fire-during-hippie.html

I hope everyone here has a great Thanksgiving feast and a good time with whoever you spend it with.

That's great! But, if it were *really* hippie thanksiving, wouldn't there be something extra in the salad?

Great idea to have a friends get-together before the actual holiday.

Yes that was another great idea. I liked the dark meat part of the turkey too.

We don't celebrate it. And plus I have my med exam that day.

I see...so how was your med exam?
