where usally you promote your site and where usually you get traffic source?

Blog Catalog brings me a fair bit of daily traffic for one of my blogs here. I also use other blogging communities as well though and advertising/swap communities like mybloglog, cmf, blog engage.
Submit to directories everyday.
Create backlinks everyday.
Write new posts everyday and submit them to social bookmark sites.
I have Facebook and Myspace groups that bring in traffic.
I frequent forums and particpate in posts. That works.
I'll never pay for it though.-

Where I can mostly commenting on Like blogs I use my bloglog but Have seen too many Browser Crashers in it they should realy restrict pages large that 100k -

Hi, HOW do you go about getting your follwers from Twitter and Facebook to follow you to your site? I am obviously a newbie and am not sure even how to add my 'friends' here and don't want to screw anything up! LOL!! I would think it would be easy, but......dah...LOL! The way I promote my site is to get my friends to read it, then select a post they find that might interest one of their friends, and ask them to email it on to those people. When all my friends do three posts each, I usually end up with a bunch of subscribers, because they're sending posts targeted to that particular person, which makes the recipient want to come back to my blog and stay (they usually stay on my blog more than an hour reading, and some stay as long as three to five hours).-
I se this site, Twitter, Facebook, Internet Mosaic, TrafficZap, Google Adwords, Press, etc. etc. BUT, since I am new on all these places, I haven't figured out yet how to get my followers from there to here and to my site! Today I removed my Feeds because ever since I had them on, my followers stay the same, which is very odd. I usually get at least 1 follower added/day. My subscribers aren't going to be happy but there is a work around that is easy enough.
Any suggestions? Have a good one!

Joining social networks help a lot in promoting your site. On our site, we do promote it through the use of social networks, classifieds, blogs and forums. -
usually i promote my site on BL,MY Bloglog,Free advertising,Klik site,flixya,digg,stumble upon,squidoo,reddit,delicious and many more
But at this time my unique visitor who come from SE Goole still less
can you help me for solve this problem?
