  I used to use my real pic, but I realised hardly anyone would insult a red panda. There was a big mean dog very rude to me once and it prompted me to change.

  I dunno the story behind your picture, whether or not its your version of a more well known image ( that I don't know of ) But I did definately see that Same picture (whether or not they were the same eyes or not?) on a t-shirt of a presenter on our music channel here.

I like Voodoo's, and I like Lotusb's old avatar (I don'tknow about the new one) and a couple of endleses have been neat, and I really liked when TT just had her eyeball all cropped, and Claires bralaclava was awesome, and Legbamels shoes inspired me to show my own boots, and, and...AG's is adorable, and oh there's too many!

It’s a shame we can’t have animated gifs for avatars on BC. I have one of the All Seeing Eye blinking, winking and rolling its Eye. On the other hand, if we all had animated gifs it’d look like a circus.

Prefer real people ones, even a bit edited or daft like mine.

Some cartoon ones are good if they reflect the person.

Some freaky animal ones like anins are cool, but he can get away with it.

  hmm as for the dye it is L'Oreal Colour Rays high intensity color in candy apple red over Manic Panic's midnight black (I dyed it in layers and chunks).
  
  I have noticed that their red and their fuschia stay in for a really long time. I last did my hair in May, and I still had the color in it all the way up until yesterday. Typically reds fade, but this one lasts for months.

  But one of the best ones to me... Is Roentarre's - because it is a VERY beautiful photograph... And it means something...
  
  A singleness... A one"ness"... an alone"ness" -- inspirational - but very subtle... It's sad... lonely... beautiful... A little cute... a little "corny" because it's like a guy in a tux looking at his shoes... but at the same time - it's nature... but with the amazing color's captured - it's also technicolor...
  
  I dunno... Roe's is probably my favorite.
