Topics: blog template column prefer
I am thinking of changing the layout of my blog. I currently have a 2 column template content in the right and sidebar menu column on the left.
Do you think its better to have 2 or 3 columns? Why?

Depends on the blog. 3 column in wordpress can look great (of course I'm biased:) In blogger - not so great. But it also depends on the "mission" of your blog. If it is to only impart information - I would go with the two column theme. If it is a cash generator - you probably need to get as much info as you can get on there. Also, based on your topic (I have quite a few relationship sites) - I would probably go with an uncluttered 2 column theme.

I think sidebars are one of the trickiest parts of a blog. I guess the bottom line is, if the content remains prevalent, have as many columns as you want.
I have 3 column layout, a sidebar either side of the content. I have come up with a rad solution that I am happy with for the right sidebar, but the left sidebar, Im not sure yet. -
I prefer two columns although I might have to go to three as I have a lot in my sidebar...

I like my 3 column layout as it lets me display plenty of stuff while still making the whole thing not too cluttered. Also, I think mine's really unique and it maximises the available space (fluid width). It's useful for displaying a lot of photo-links to photoalbums etc. My sidebar got way too long when I was still using 2 columns.
