I had the burning desire to publicly tell one of our members what a solid addition to the community they've been, and I got to thinking (once the WD40 went to work on the rusty cogs in my brain)...

Which blogger here do you want to give a special plug to that probably has no idea that you admire/respect them?

I'm not talking about a popularity contest, or the obvious friends we all converse with every day. I'm talking about the folks who are likely unaware that you appreciate them.

Is there anyone you'd like to send a special "hey, I'm glad you're here" message to?

I'll start.

I've mentioned a couple of times that I don't think Robert Stevenson gets enough credit for being a solid addition to the BC community. He's honest, takes the time to read people's blogs, and even offers poignant comments (quite a few people, judging from his "link to your last post" thread):
www.blogcatalog.com/discuss/entry/link-to-your-last-post

So, Robert - just wanted to say that I appreciate the blogging you do, how considerate you are to other bloggers by routinely visiting/commenting on their sites, and your participation here. I think you make BC a better place.

Anybody else got any love they'd like to share? It's all about good karma, people.

I admire crkian. Chris helps a lot of BC bloggers in his own quiet and unassuming way every day. Aside from that he has a great blogging tips blog mattnutts.com/ He wrote the book on Blog Catalog and he gave away 100 courtesy copies free of charge

    P.S. Yay! for Robert too.
    1. kdawg68
oh, good choice TT - actually, truth be told, you were one of the ones I thought of while making this - so kudos to you as well!
    2. offendedblogger
      Yep, Chris definitely.
    3. timethief
Thanks kdawg - I really appreciate that. I hope Amy won't mind but I &hearts you too.
    4. Anok
Yeah, and he's got mad skillz, to boot!
    5. timethief
ekim is also a deep thinker who makes thoughtful and self revealing comments and I admire him for that. He also helps others on the forum. That's not to mention that he taught me how to make &hearts
    6. ekim941
@Timethief- You know, no one will ever believe you

      Thanks ♥
    7. kdawg68
Ekim: The man, the hat, the legend.
    8. DocKC
crkian: Chris, without a doubt is the greatest addition in my opinion to BC and anywhere he puts himself. Thanks you, Chris, for who you are and everything you do!
  2. Anok
    Heh - you're a carazy horse!

I think I'd have to go with Ian Thal. He always makes great points, is very intelligent, balanced, and otherwise pretty nifty. Even if he does wear clown makeup *clowns - shudder*
    1. kdawg68
wait...clown makeup? What did I miss? Ian is pretty cool - doesn't seem to be around as often. Hopefully we can change that.
    2. timethief
Ian Thal is an outstanding commentator. His comments are gracious, relevant and thought provoking. Whenever he has something to say I'm all ears or, is that eyes?
    3. Anok
Ian does mime and clown stuff in a very theatrical way. it's cool, actually. Almost cool enough to make me not afraid of clowns
    4. kdawg68
Well, I'll support anything Ian does - but clowns do scare the bejesus out of me as well.
    5. IanThal
Oh you are all so kind. Now I wish people would admire me because of my clowning instead of in spite.

      My mime:

hmmm... I gotta say, I've never thought of this before. Perhaps I don't take the discussions here that seriously. I think it's nice you feel that way tho.
    1. Anok
      But WE like YOU DM
    2. timethief
      @drowseyhoney
Well heck you already know you're my friend.
    3. kdawg68
Mad luvs for Drowsey - although the doll freaks me out a bit (I'm werid like that - but you already knew that).
    4. DrowseyMonkey
yeah, yeah. But if anyone tries to hug me I'm outta here

  4. Jeunelle
I'll be the 1st to say that even though MadameX and I don't always agree,
I do respect her as a mother and I actually think she is the bomb. OK
So people please don't be too shocked or throw up in your shoe.

I of course do like you KD, TT, BG, DM, Anok, richf, ekim, offendedblogger, RTBjr73, thriftshopromantic, nardeeisms, and a whole bunch more but I bet they already know I like them.
    1. richrf
Thanks J. I think you are the bomb also. I haven't gotten to know everyone very well yet, but I certainly concur that I have enjoyed the comments of all of those who have been mentioned in this thread so far. There's a bunch I can name, but really I am too new to say anything.
    2. kdawg68
MadameX is a staple. I think of her as my conscience sometimes. She has that way of reaching you, stating things matter-of-factly, and commands a ton of respect with the way she carriers herself. Heck, she's a BC hall-of-famer as far as I'm concerned.
    3. timethief
I agree that Madame X is an outstanding member of this community. I respect and admire her.
    4. Anok
Yup, Madame X is definitely good people too.

Juenelle, your posts crack me up - your responses are fantastic
    5. kdawg68
oh yes, Jeunelle's fearless - plus she's got a wicked sense of humor. I think we took you too seroiusly at first and didn't realize how funny you were. Lately you've had my sides bursting with laughter.
    6. timethief
      @Jeunelle
Your posts are a scream and I've had some great fun with you.
Also I sense that we are going to rock on together in some upcoming threads that will really be howlers.
    7. Jeunelle
Awwww thanks guy's I am deeply crushed.
Yes too many people take things so seriously, just relax and have fun already.
Life is too short and next thing you know, you're being cremated
and someone keeps your ashes in a bottle like a genie.
Nothings sacred. I mean who wants to go out like that?
Some people put that ash bottle right on top their tv sets.
Who wants to hear that annoying "Jeopardy" song playing in the background while you're dead?
    8. ekim941
Yes. Props to MadameX and Juenelle (Even with her raging flatulence).
  5. suburbqueen
The red dog (stoneman). I enjoy reading his insights as he always gets me thinking and I like that in a person.
    1. kdawg68
He is a special red dog, that's for sure. I think what I like best about Mark is his passion. I see a lot of similarities in us, even when we disagree. He's got a heart of gold.
    2. Anok
I love reading Mark's posts and comments. 'Specially when he gets riled up
    3. timethief
Mark Stoneman is bright, observant and has relevant information to offer when he posts to the forum. Anok's right he's real clever when he gets riled up.
    4. clioandme
      Me get riled?
    5. legbamel
If you weren't so cross-eyed that would have been the perfect innocent expression.
    6. IanThal
I'm definitely a fan of Mark's blogs-- not just because of his scholarship, but his ethical commitment to his scholarship.
  6. offendedblogger
I admire Anok, for realz. She is unafraid to speak her mind and has what we here in Idaho like to call some really big balls.
    1. Anok
      Aww. Thank you ♥

You know I love ya's too - but since this wasn't an obvious friends thing I opted to go for a less vocal member *giggle*

Then again, any woman who has skillz with a bow and could maybe whup my butt is awesome in my book
    2. timethief
Yay! for Anok. I agree with what Chelle has said. Anok is an outstanding example of a courageous blogger and person who speaks her mind. She has given much to the BC community and she just keeps giving. I &hearts her too
    3. ekim941
Anok is the man!! Well, figuratively speaking.

I enjoy lurking around Anoks comments and that offended blogger person.
  7. sulz
i like kdawg68. i may not visit or comment in his blog as often as he does mine, but i admire his passion for horse racing; it's clearly evident in the way he writes. i sometimes imagine if he were to have a personal blog and write the way he does in his aspiring horseplayer blog, how popular it would be! his friendliness and wit always adds something extra when he comments in my blog.
    1. kdawg68
You're gonna make me tear up, Sulzie!!!!! And this gal, folks, is one of the most AWESOME people I've ever met either on the net or in real life.

I hope you know how often you've picked me up on down days or brought a smile to my face - and I hope you know how much I beam up like a neon sign when I see you're in the threads here on BC.
    2. Anok
Well everyone loves the Kdawg *grin*.
    3. sulz
kdawg: aww, thank you for the sweet words. *hugs*

      anok: word!
  8. DrowseyMonkey
Oh god ... are y'all gonna have a group hug here tonight?
    1. Jeunelle
I hope so DM, I think the world needs to see us BC members get busy.
Let's have a Orgy, just like in that movie Caligula.
    2. kdawg68
Why not man - we spend time arguing, we can all get the positive mojo flowing instead. BC's always been sort of a 'pick me up" for me anyway. I need a laugh, or I need to escape - I come here and you guys have always made it worthwhile.
    3. Anok
I think I shall save the group huggery until the BC bash
    4. DrowseyMonkey
      hmmm... okay.
    5. Jeunelle
Alright but I'm making the fruit punch.
I got lots of rum and condoms if anyone's in need at the BC bash.
I still want to ride the pony, make sure you bring him.
I mean after all, what party would be complete without one?
    6. Anok
OK Juenelle, but you have to make the punch really strong if you plan on farting a lot. Got it?
    7. kdawg68
I should've had odds on how long it would take for farting to pop up. Oh those BC memes!!!!
    8. mattiasx
      Make love, not babies.
  9. Daudleikr
I admire everybody who have the guts to speak their mind about a subject, even if.. no, ESPECIALLY if it includes being politically incorrect and stepping on toes. Mad respect to you guys and gals
And I also really admire Robert Stevenson, for the same reasons as kdawg.
    1. Anok
So far I really like what you've had to say! I think you've made a great addition to the BC community.
    2. kdawg68
This is awesome - now we've got ninja love going on here as well!
    3. timethief
      @Daudleikr
      I like ya kidlet &hearts
    4. Daudleikr
      Ninja loving!! < 3
      Edit: And timethief loving!
    5. kdawg68
They're good folks to love, that's for sure.
    1. Anok
      Yeah she is!
    2. kdawg68
Yeah, is she sort of new? I know I started seeing her pop up in threads and I had the same assessment - seems a very interesting addition to the community. I should probably check out her blog.
    3. timethief
I agree that Robin Easton is an awesome, writer and friend to us all.
Her good humor never fails. I &hearts her
    4. Donlewis
Yep, I'm a RFR fan all the way.
    5. rainforestrobin
Oh my gawd, I am SO touched by this. I can hardly believe it. You are so kind.

I have grown to really admire and love many of the people here. It has totally changed my outlook on blogging. Seeing your kindness, warmth, help and humor has made blogging more REAL for me. I thank you all from my heart. I really do. Hugs and kisses on the house!!!!
  10. Jeunelle
Daudleikr "Especially if it includes being politically incorrect and stepping on toes".
Like I said, "we all have our faults". lmao
  11. Anniepooh
It wouldn't be a secret, then - would it?
    1. DrowseyMonkey
Yes, I don't think it's any secret who likes who around here Maybe I find the word "admire" to be my sticking point.
    2. kdawg68
what would be a better choice of words?

And secrets were meant to be shared - that's the fun of secrets!
    3. DrowseyMonkey
Well, instead of "admire" how about "like" .. but as I said, who likes who is not really a secret.
    4. kdawg68
that's why I was gunning for the "secretive" angle - rather than posting a haiku about Anok.
    5. Anok
      Do horses write haiku?
    6. timethief
Annie you sweet and lovable woman.
You have shared some awesome insight on forum posts.
      I &hearts your cooking blog and I &hearts you
  12. timethief
I'd like to nominate Ben Goodman. You all know that he's my friend just like you know Robin Easton is too. I truly do admire how balanced and sane he is and how helpful he is to other BC members. It's no wonder that he has such a helpful blog that just rocks. Ben rocks! www.ya-ttitude.com/blog
    1. Anok
I like reading his comments as well. He's sharp, thats for sure
    2. BennyGreenberg
Ya - Now all you gotta do is tell me when he took over the Ya-ttitude.com blog?

      Ben Goodman - shakes head...
    3. BennyGreenberg
      Thanks for the props ladies
    4. Anok
I just realized it was the wrong last name *LOL*

It just goes to show, even with the wrong name, we still know who you are, and we love ya anyway.

      We'll never forget ole whats'hisface....
    5. timethief
      @Ben
      OMG!
I'm so sorry. I have no excuse to offer.
I was not drinking or anything.
It was a brain fart [blushing]
    6. kdawg68
don't worry, TT - I once did a post on my blog about a Valentine that Sulz made for me and totally misidentified the country she lives in.
  13. Unfettered
I know he's gone now, but my all-time favorite HAS to be aliasinkhorn.
    1. kdawg68
Gone? I didn't realize that. Hope all is okay.
    2. offendedblogger
      Hehehehehe.
  14. clioandme
For dependability and consistency over the past year, Chris (crkian) is real high on my list. I'll leave it at that. There are other people too who contribute to my apparent BC addiction.
  15. calais50
I would have to say Time Thief and Benny Greenberg for contributing to the community among the others you have listed. Of course there are tons of people I really like here and enjoy chatting with.
    1. BennyGreenberg
I mailed you the check Robin
    2. calais50
Thanks Benny, the only problem is it's written out to Calais50. Oh, well I guess it'll have to be a freebie:)
    3. BennyGreenberg
ok - so I owe you...

I am good for it - I think
    4. timethief
That was sweet of you Robin. Thanks.
  16. richrf
If you are talking about in a physical way, I have been building a pretty long list, which I can share ... assuming it can be done without my girlfriend seeing it.
  17. EelKat
well, I joined like a year ago, but I didn't start posting on the boards here until just a few days ago, so I can't really say as I know anyone yet, so I'll just say that so far every body I've run across here is pretty cool.
  18. BennyGreenberg
I don't remember secretly admiring too many bloggers - Y'all know I love you!
    1. thoughtsofg
*Piano music starts randomly playing on all radio stations*
    2. BennyGreenberg
      especially you chelle
    3. BennyGreenberg
what songs were randomly played G?
    4. thoughtsofg
Hm...gushy songs that highlight your love for the members of BC. That sounds good.
  19. wolfcreek
To this point, I have a great respect for so many it would be tough to narrow it down.

I'd have to mirror my admiration for Anok, Chris, Benny, The Offended, TT and The Stoneman. I also have a little favor for KDawg (Love a sports fan) and I enjoy the ramblings of Miss DocKC.

Believe me...I could go on and on and on...but I make my "typing crushes" known. I make sure to show my appreciation and hope that I'm not too lame to participate.

So if I missed ya, it isn't that I don't love ya.
    1. offendedblogger
      OK, group hugs now!!!!

      But please, shower first alright?
    2. kdawg68
thanks man - I've got mad love for wolves. Besides horses they are my 2nd favorite animals of all. The minute I first saw your avatar I was intrigued.
    3. DocKC
Thank you so much Wolf! I truly appreciate you appreciating what I try to do here and everywhere. LOL! I admire you as well!!
    4. wolfcreek
      Hmmmm...group? Sounds kinky...so I guess I will shower!
  20. accidentalsexiness
Timethief...because you keep me looking for affirmations. Thank you!
    1. timethief
      You're welcome [blush]
  21. mattiasx
Don't know a lot of you, but this has instantly become my new fun place to hang out. Out of all the places I've been to over the years (forums, web communities, websites), this is the only one that doesn't have trolls running rampant, nor does it stink like elitism that other places do.
    1. Static
      I couldn't agree more!

BC is a great place to network and meet like minded people. Even the *cough* SEO's and *cough* adult oriented bloggers are generally civil and hardly...ok, rarely spam (me).
    2. offendedblogger
I take offense to that, *I* happen to be an elite troll who runs rampant here, dammit!
    3. mattiasx
      Not naked, you don't...

      ...that's my job.
  22. Static
I have to say that all of you guys @ BC have left a lasting impression on me. And I respect and admire everyone I have come into contact with here, despite any superficial disagreements or feathers I may have ruffled unbeknownst to me.

I have some strong opinions like any thinking person does, so I'm willing to accept responsibility that I may have inadvertently insulted someone.

Meh, I'm easy, I try to get along... mostly.
  23. Arcticulates
I really appreciate TimeThief’s responses, even when she is being "attacked for using her right to an opinion" she is still gracious..

I enjoy reading Robin Easton's replies; she makes me smile a lot.

I get so tickled at Ekim and his quick witted responses to so many subjects. He is very funny, yet he also has a way of being sensitive too, depends on what is being talked about.

I absolutely love Anok, she is someone who speaks her mind, and walks the talk.. I truly appreciate someone who is like that...I find them more trustworthy, because they are true to themselves.

Jeunelle: is just pure fun! Sometimes I may not comment on her posts but I check back on the often just to see what she will say next.

I like global girl, because she also is one that sticks to her guns, when she really believes in something, and that is admirable.

Benny Greenberg: is very funny too, he has a great way of looking at the world, and it helps to alleviate the stress and tension.

Kdawg: is awesome, my admiration grew when you started a post on "I'm a horse..." That was over the top with a great sense of humor.

Offended blogger: well what can I say other then the offense that seems to come up when ever she shows up? I look forward to her comments. And miss her when she isn’t around.

crkian is always on his toes, he notices anything fishy about posts immediately and calls them on it. That just has to be a gift...

MadamX: so full of wisdom and is another one who is amazing at picking up the undertones of some posts right away and says something about it. I enjoy hearing from her.

Gosh, I could just go on and on.. I have made so many new friends and acquaintances here, and they are all so unique and amazing. I am so glad that I found blog catalog, and I my “tip of the hat” goes to the people who run this forum. Great Job! You’re the best!
    1. offendedblogger
You articulated how I feel about everyone!

Well except you missed Pointlessbanter, he is my favorite arch nemesis.
    2. Static
      Ditto!

PB is a great guy, but also busy as I hardly ever get to converse with him.
    3. offendedblogger
Yeah. He was soooo mean to me my first day here and then it went downhill from there, which is why I love him so much.

The last message he left me in my shoutbox was something about how he was filing his toothbrush down to shiv me with.
    4. Static
LOL! Aww, shucks. Well, I'm sure he was speaking figuratively.
    5. timethief
      @Articulates
Thank you for making such thoughtful posts to forum threads. You are kind and you are wise. I'm so glad to be your friend.
    6. kdawg68
That's a very thoughtful post, articulates. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
    7. rainforestrobin
Oh ARCTICULATES that is SO beautiful what you wrote about us all. I am touched at the time and effort you took to write all that. You strike me as someone SOOOOO sincere and deeply kind. I sensed that about you right away. You are like an anchor for us all. I just love you.

I would change only one thing on your comment:

I would add ARCTICULATES to the list.
  24. Jeunelle
See now who knew that we would all be so loved and missed in the community?
    Well done everyone.
    1. ekim941
We're like one big, happy family
    2. offendedblogger
Yes, now who is doing the dishes because it ain't me!
    3. mattiasx
How can we be a family? We communicate really well with one another.
  25. Aprilfreelance
I have to mention Shirley (Shiley). She has a sort of quiet, unassuming presence that is always good-hearted and shows concern for others. She's also a dedicated mother.
    1. timethief
I salute Shirley too. She's one of the first bloggers I met here and she has a heart of gold.
    2. BennyGreenberg
Ahhh Shiley - err - Shirley - got to love that girl!
    3. Shiley
Awww... shucks... Shuffles feet. I'm blushing.
    4. ThriftShopRomantic
Agreed. Shirley comes off as one of the more good-hearted people I've had the pleasure of "meeting."
    5. Shiley
Truly, guys I'm speechless. Make me feel like I won an award or something.
    6. rainforestrobin
I think SHILEY is the next DEAR ABBY. I'm dead serious.

When she did her questions she replied with wit, wisdom and warm humor. She would make a GREAT columnist for people to write in with their worries and questions. Her replies stood out amongst all replies. I'm tellin' ya SHILEY I see it in your future.
    7. Shiley
I don't know that I'm any more special than anyone else. I just tought it would be a fun thing to do. I didn't think it would start a riot though.
  26. Jeunelle
hmmmmm mattiasx you got a point there.
  27. PetLvr
    secretly admire?

    Oh - that's easy

Amy Weber and all future celebrities who are 'real' enough to come join Blog Catalog and join in on the discussions!
    1. timethief
      @petlvr
I admire you Hart. You know so much and you share it on the forum. Thanks &hearts
    2. PetLvr
thanks If only .. if only .. if only I can spread my knowledge during the working day hours, instead of the sleeping night hours.
  28. robertstevenson
Thanks a bunch, Kdawg. I appreciate the shout out very much. It really means a lot to me -being noticed for having fun is always cool. I also appreciate timethief's and Daudleikr's kind words. You guys are all the best.

I can't seem to single any one person out. I'll have to cop out and plead the fifth. Many have helped me become a better blogger, many have made me laugh a lot, many have made me think and learn about myself. Most of you here I admire and a few other that haven't found the thread yet - the same folks we see day after day.

I'll go along with ekim and many others that we're one, big happy BC family.
  29. nardeeisms
I have always been one to go for the less obvious and my most admired are seldom seen on the discussion boards...Pentad, Marcueto, Oims, Lizh, Quoteguy, Zunnur, Manchild, AnnaSellers, Marylynn321...Too many to name. Thank you guys! You are the best! - With love - Nards
    1. BennyGreenberg
      We love you Nards!
    2. timethief
We sure do. Love you Nards.
    3. BennyGreenberg
      I said it first ! ! !
    4. nardeeisms
Y'all already know I feel about you. Goes without saying... However, I just saw fit to mention the "behind the scenes" seldom seen but quiet warriors - Nards
    5. BennyGreenberg
All I know is that my supposed biggest fan (after kat) didn't even know my name...

I know its not the face
    6. rainforestrobin
You are so right NARDS....and I would add the delightful person called "NARDS" to this list!! Hugs, RainforestRobin

Well, I am a little late to the Lovefest but let me say...

I have been a member for quite awhile, but only recently started getting active in the forums. That delay was mostly due to a little fear about how a blog regarding the taboo subject of my blog would be thought of.

What a mistake! Everyone has been absolutely fantastic and I have truly enjoyed getting to know all of your virtual personas!

Thanks to all and I look forward to getting to know you guys better!

Wow, I feel like I just left church

I can't specifically name one blogger, but I do know that there are some damn fine bloggers here. Smart ones, funny ones, you name it we got it. It's all gravy baby.
    1. PetLvr
It's not all gravy... some .. are just icing on the cake
    2. ChicaX
Oddly enough the icing is my favorite part of the cake.
    3. GFG
Which category do i come under?
    4. ChicaX
Don't know you enough to say, but by the looks of your blog.. I'll take Smart for $200.
    5. mattiasx
And yet each and every one of us is sexy.
  32. arshad
problogger is the best --- he gives great tips regarding blogging and adsense . thank u problogger .
    1. Shadow1000
Trench Reynolds...been blogging before I, or others even knew what a blog was.
    2. crkian
      whos trench reynolds
  33. Manictastic
I secretly admire Manictastic. He's like totally the coolest blogger around these parts. He could like do so much usefuller things with his time, yet he still takes some time out to talk to the lonely people in here. He's the best!!!!
  34. crkian
the 2 baseball caps, the horse, the dog, the ninja, the blonde, the 2 eyes

Edit forgot the Romantic as well
    1. rainforestrobin
AND add to that list CRKIAN, who is ALWAYS so helpful and humble. A delight! Although you are extremely humble we still SEE you. Even those of us that you might not even think see you. We do.
  35. Shiley
I need more coffee cause I've been up since 2:30 AM. When my brain is functioning I'll come back. That might be tomorrow.
    1. crkian
Forgot to mention Shiley as well
    2. Shiley
So, if I tell then I don't secretly admire them anymore. Honestly, I can't say I admire one person over another. We all have different things to offer as people. I feel that there is good in everyone it just needs to be tapped in to. I believe we all can and do make a difference to each other. Hey, crkian I really needed the info on link baiting, Timethief I needed the info on the links in the comments of my blog, nards you're a sweet person, Chelle you make me laugh, marcueto even though she probably won't see this gave me a nudge w/ PP, even the pointless one gave good advice concerning my son's ear infections. I could go on and on but I need to meet my son's class at the park. This isn't lack of sleep talking this is just who I am.
  36. ThriftShopRomantic
We're pretty lucky to have such a great group of folks overall.

I've learned a lot from all the very different personalities here-- two legged, four legged- four-year-olds, ninjas, people with dolls glued to their faces or handpuppets to their hands...

Heh- it would make a great spoof of the Beatles Magical Mystery Tour album cover, wouldn't it?
    1. kdawg68
you know I'll never be able to see the words "thrift" or "shop" again in my life without thinking of you.

and for some reason I think of you from time to time while playing guitar hero...weird, I know.
    2. ThriftShopRomantic
Every time I see that Guitar Hero contest advertised in the window of the bar near my work, I envision horses rocking out.
  37. Shadow1000
    "whos trench reynolds"

He's been blogging since the Clinton administration...He runs www.mycrimespace.com and www.newsofdoom.com and quite a few others.

    He's a great guy...one of the finest person's I've ever meant online.

    Thanks for the response crkian!
    1. crkian
No problem, just wondering why you mentioned it under the problogger thing
    2. Shadow1000
Because i still have no idea what i'm doing, *lol*

I will get the hang of this eventually
    3. crkian
I dont either so dont feel left out
  38. kdawg68
Somebody I forgot to mention - now this person is on my "top friends" list, so I'm sort of bending my own rules - but they are someone that pops into my head at the most random times. As a blogger, they post some deeply thought provoking material that seems to reach me on a very personal level.

Our one and only Pentad. Where's she been lately? Come on Tam - got a big hug here with your name on it!
  39. puanthanh
    I don't understand crkian
  40. pointlessbanter
    I hate everyone here.

Actually there are a lot of things that I have taken from people there. Be it just outlook, advice, techniques, attitude, different points of view. While I am a sarcastic jerk at most times I really value the community here and obviously spend way too much time here.
    1. offendedblogger
Aww! Admitting it is the first step to recovery.
    2. MadameX
Right back at you, Kevin. While you are a sarcastic jerk most of the time, it's always been clear that you offer this community much more than that. In addition to the insight often provided by your carefully placed sarcasm, you've been uncommonly generous about sharing knowledge as you acquire it.
  41. DarkAngelMe
    Benny- ever so helpful
Poinlessbanter - even though sometimes i want to strangle him with his stumbles and diggs
Offended blogger - hilarious to boot
Timethief - all that is spiritual and more.
Alex - because i know he knows
Rob - I enjoy listening to your megaphone
ekim - When i grow up, I'll want to date a man just like you.
Momscrazy life - utter admiration is what i have for you
Thriftshopmaniac - Coz she can pick out Kenya on a map and call the police on me. :-)
    Carlgalloway - You know why.
    1. ThriftShopRomantic
That's call the police FOR you... FOR you... I'd meant assistance- Not incarceration.

Unless, you know, you're up to somethin' rotten.
  42. earthlingorgeous
late again... hmmmm if I tell it's not a secret anymore!

kidding aside I admire every blogger in here especially all BC members who are very helpful and friendly to everyone.. they see the good instead of criticize I think that's what the world needs helpful and non-judgmental people... you all rock!

I always say BC people are the best! (except for some inconsiderate people here and there, they are very few and won't stop me from coming back here and ask stoopid questions sometimes :D)
    1. DarkAngelMe
Gosh, I forgot you!!!!damn damn damn
    2. earthlingorgeous
pinch! why did you forget me! hahahaha! teasing
  43. Manictastic
I liked Mikster a lot but he ran away. I miss mikster. And Ender.
    1. kdawg68
      Hey, where are those two?
    2. Manictastic
I saw them snuck out together, maybe they are making love or something
  44. voodooKobra
Nobody. If I admire someone, even a little, I let it be known. What's the point of admiring someone (or even just an aspect of someone's personality) if you don't let them know?
    1. earthlingorgeous
the people I admire know already I admire them they are up on my blog and I gave them recognition award thingy
    2. voodooKobra
Yeah. Secret admiration is for the age of puppy love and cooties.
  45. praning5254
I admire TT because she's the first person I remember who helped me a lot here in BC when I was a newbie.

and Ekim, too! His comments are no-nonsense.

When I have the time, I always try to visit their blogs and read their posts.
  46. Jeunelle
I would like to thank all the little people for thinking of me
and I will accept this award with honor, beauty, grace, dignity
and let's not forget humility. Bwwwwwaaaaahhhhhh
  47. wolfcreek
I also forgot to mention Thriftshop...she's pretty witty and cute...er, knowledgeable.

I truly think that anyone that blogs that isn't involved here is missing out. Even if they only get on once in a while (GroovyChiky) or are here non-stop (Bennie who gets others to write his blog while he hands out advice and positivity-ness)

I'm so thankful to everyone, and enjoy the hour or two I spend here.
    1. ThriftShopRomantic
      Well, shucks, Wolf-- many graciases.
  48. offendedblogger
OMG we are pathetic!! Every single one of us (except me, of course).
    1. wolfcreek
I'm only pathetic cuz I live in your shadow and lust your avatar and the surrounding landscapes of your home in the remote north.
    2. offendedblogger
      Hehe.

Believe me, it is better in person. Pictures can't even begin to do it justice.

      My surroundings, I mean.
    3. wolfcreek
      What about the landscape?
    4. offendedblogger
      Could use mowing.

      Bwahahaha!!
  49. wolfcreek
    You said mowing...hehehhehhehhhehhheh
    1. offendedblogger
What else could I say? That my landscaper, Pedro, had already trimmed the bushes this morning?!

That would just be WRONG on so many levels!
    2. wolfcreek
Offensive, yes? But, frankly...it was F-awny
    3. offendedblogger
OK, you are officially on my list of bloggers that I admire now.
    4. wolfcreek
Don't butter me up....I'm easy, and highly influenced.
    5. Manictastic
Did Pedro trim the bushes stripped or nekkid?

(oh Justin Timberlake and Nelly, how good was that videoclip)
  50. barryfromtexas
Danged time difference!!! I miss out on these - until it is too late!
  51. GFG
    Anyone admires me?
    1. JillSaxon
      If you have to ask..
    2. carlgalloway
Oh yeah, about as much as I love getting dog turd on my shoe
    3. GFG
Thanks... didnt know that im so popular
    4. carlgalloway
      You said it!
    5. GFG
You are making me wanting to sing
      "I feel like dancing"
    6. calais50
You get a sympathy vote from me GFG.
  52. barryfromtexas
I forgot to say who ... I featured a post by robertsetevson, and mentioned Jeunelle

    blog.beyourowndetective.net/2008/06/be-your-own-detective-and-social.html

and on another post I bandied Chell's name around
    blog.beyourowndetective.net/2008/06/free-public-records-search-links-no.htm...
    1. offendedblogger
Hey, do you work for Google?!
  53. JDh888
i've only been here a short time but would agree with Robert

have gotten warm welcome also from Pentad

i lurk about as much as i comment at this point

and tend to be a little late to the party
    1. DocNicole
always late but worth the wait!

      JD is an awesome writer.

I always try to follow everything that Timethief says though because I know I will learn something!
  54. myriadlife
Timethief, Anok, and Madame X and I like Ekim too but God knows why sometimes! Still shuddering about rectal bleeding. Benny Greenberg is fun too.
