As creatures we are 'sexually' attracted initially, even if we are not aware of it..so 'lust' would always come first..although it's more biological imperative than modern 'lust'. As for love, that's a construct and does not actually exist..it's a way of describing the way we go against our programming and our biological imperative to remain with someone who satisfies the evolved part of us. sex first longevity later.
It really is that way..it's an actual fact, but I am sure there will be people more than ready to argue the point because they can't accept that we are just the biggest ape on the planet..nothing more. -

In MOST cases, I think that an initial physical attraction opens the door to flirting, conversation and eventually love. Two people get together out of lust and stay together out of love (or maybe common interests).
I think it is very unusual for two people to be together without a physical attraction being the first acting force that brought them together in the first place.-

I suspect that's true, but I think that it probably means that people are missing out on a lot of good relationships. Physical attraction can and does grow in the most surprising places, when a close relationship provides good soil.

it depends on the people involved...most times relationships are initially about lust because it is part of biology. Hormones play a part in the beginning stages. A more 'mature' person may have more personal awareness and not be so caught up in the hormones and would start a relationship based on love.

I think its lust. Then love after wards. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think most people are sexually attracted.
