Hi Friends,

I would like to create a blog for my site funepets.com. Not a blogger here. Have tried google's blogger, but not sure how easy it is to modify. Created one on vox, but they put their adsense ads on it.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,
Funepets

A hammer, a table saw and backhoe are useful tools but none would be very useful for a job that really required one of the other two. Determining what is best for you requires considering a number of different factors, from your proficiency and comfort level with coding in HTML to the purpose of the blog (personal expression, promote business, as a money making business in of itself) and what resources you have available.

The question you've asked will get you some responses from people telling you what they use or what they like. If you can provide more of the information I've described you may begin to get responses that actually address would would suit Your particular needs.

Libdrone -- The purpose of the blog is to promote business. Plus users should also be able to post comments, etc.

We do have a decent website, but lack a decent blog. :-)

      Thanks once again.

Funepets .. I'd second that wordpress install .. You obviously know how to upload with all the pictures and videos you have on your site .. all you need to know is pretty much over at the download site wordpress.org/download and there is probably even a free template that might match your root site's design at the theme viewer themes.wordpress.net/

Just checked themes.wordpress.net. It has a good selection.

Thanks a lot everyone. Lol hope to have mine set up in the next few days. :-)

Will I love site once I start blogging. Lol that can be a debate for later. :-)

    If you go here
    www.siteground.com/
they have tutorials on most of the open source.
    (no it's not my site)
If you want to incorporate a template into your site you will need a bit of XHTML knowledge. ( I know your coder does )
But you can pretty much make it fit right into your site.
Look around and see what your comfortable with and try out a few.
