Which needs more attention: China Earthquake victims or global financial crisis?

China has recently hit by a disastrous earthquake, leaving thousands of dead victims, while the global economy is facing tremendously serious financial crisis.
Which do you think needs valuable aids?

China should take care of their own people. They have THEIR OWN government; ours should stick to our own business. If they want help, there's always the UN. Stick to the economy. -
The Chinese Earthquake victims need immediate help. It's a matter of life and death regardless of borders or economics. -
China, Myanmar, South Africa, American Soldiers in Iraq... the list goes on and on and on...
what can we do? nothing physically, we are all in here sitting comfortably in front of our PC wondering what to cook for dinner, what to wear for the weekend party, and all things for our personal concern...
We can just PRAY for them, include them in our prayers... -
Even though the government of China squashes their dissidents with tanks and wasted over 20 billion dollars on the olympics, occupies Tibet, fuels the demand for wildlife poaching and is wrecking the entire planet with their pollution and ridiculous environmental practices...
Even though the average person is struggling to make ends meet due to the greed of the monopolists such as the oil and energy monopolists...
We must help each other to overcome these increasing disasters...
There is still strength in numbers...
If a billion people each contributed one dollar and the billion dollars was somehow synergized with volunteer labor and governments of the world contribution of their resources disasters could be dealt with quickly...
Unfortunately there is no plan in place to create a global fund to combat disasters and the monies raised currently by charities is squandered or stolen and as little as 25% actually makes it to the victims...
