   Neither. I like receiving comments that are freely given and I do not feel compelled to reciprocate, nor do I want my readers to feel that they are under any obligation to comment.
   
   In regard to the posts on any blog, I read them and if I have something to say that's meaningful and will contribute something new to a discussion then I post a comment.

   I read a blog if I like its contents. I rarely make a comment on anyones blog except one. I do not expect comments on mine. I just write mine for pleasure not comments

   I really don't have time to comment and that may be the reason i get less comment. I don't think I have comment on more than 20 blog. But the comments I received makes the difference and it tells me to write more good contents.
   
   But the idea of you comment I follow is very funny and seems like a child's play to me.

   Comments are my favorite part of a blog, leaving, or just reading them. Don't care who leaves them on my blog. I follow no blogs, I have several I visit daily, but you will never see FreakSmack in a followers widget. That's just how I roll.

   I leave comments all the time, and enjoy getting comments back. I always respond to friend's broadcasts unless they're about making money or blogging tips. In addition I try to visit four or five new blogs every day plus those of people who regularly contribute to discussions. I"m retired and have a lot of free time on my hands and I'm getting a big kick out of all of this.

      I appreciate the few comments I get every day. I don't want to coerce anyone to leave a comment. A tit for tat approach defeats the purpose. I comment when I can and never gratuitously.

    I guess I'm with the herd here. If I like it, I'll follow it, regardless if they follow mine or leave comments on mine. Plus, I'd rather not HAVE to comment if I don't want to. I'd rather leave meaningful comments instead of just a little smiley or "Nice job," when I don't really mean it.

    I do not write for a following but I have to admit it is nice now and then to have someone follow. If what I write benefits someone else that is all I care about.
