If you had a choice between a free vacation to Las Vegas or a free vacation to New York, which would choose?

I live in New York for over 20 years and Las Vegas for over 15 years. I love both places.

Where would you go on your free vacation?

I wouldn't cause it probably means sitting through a time share presentation.

Haha I was just going to say that!

I'd do it for a free trip to Tahiti though.

As Mao said, when given 2 options choose the 3rd. I'd go to Majorca. Lagers lads here I come!

Vegas - if it's during the BC party. If not,I'll just hit up the "bunny ranch."

NYC is nice and close, so I don't need a free anything. Goin' to Cali to meet my bosses would be cool--but not for a presentation.

I already live in New York, so I would like the free trip to Vegas.

      I thought that might happen.

      Neither.

    I was just curious...Not a timeshare presentation I promise.
How can anyone say neither? They are both great vacation spots.

I lived in New York City for twenty years. Now, whenever I drive the kids to Disneyland we stay in Las Vegas. I don't think it's a fair fight. I would pick New York every time. No matter how good the shopping, shows, and restaurants in Las Vegas get, and they are very good, if you don't gamble, it's just not that great to me!

hepp2 I have to admit I live outside of Las Vegas. Also have to admit I love New York. But 24/7 is a bit much for either. Just for the record, I don't gamble.

Have been to each place so many times, over so much of my life, I am sick, tired, and fed up with both, and all the plastic people that inhabit these enclaves. Would rather be a recluse, in a small town, and limitedly mix with real people, which is the preferred way I am spending the last years of my life.

I'd go to New York...I live in Vegas so no excitment left in it for me. The strip is just a ride downtown..no biggy.

Lisa, you are right. After a few years the strip does lose some of the "WoW" factor. But still, the entertainment, food, people, and excitement is still worth something.

New York, I lived there for four years during college and I'm not sad I'm gone but it will win this questions with mt most of the time.
