who designed the logo in your blog?

i just noticed most bloggers design their own logo for their blog. It's a nice thing because you can carve a logo that really suits your taste. For my blog I usually hire designers because I have no talent in photoshopping, how bout you?

Being a graphic designer, I definitely do my own logos. But I encourage non-designers to do their own logos, business cards, etc., if you can't afford a designer. Even if you have the money, it's still good to know that you have the capacity to create with your own hands.
I believe you don't have to be a artist to be a designer.

I'm just in the process of getting a friend of a friend (graphic designer) to do me a simple logo ...
The one up there is on trial right now ... I got sick of just text and wanted something a bit professional, but simple. -
I just have a tiny picture of a girl in a mobster costume. I took the picture so I guess that counts. My blog is super simple, so nothing fancy needed. -
An art student named Scott Donaldson (scottdonaldson.wordpress.com/) designed mine. He's doing other illustrations for me as well. -
I did the logo. It's pretty straightforward but I like it a lot. -
Pretty simple logo. I did the design. -
For my humor blog, I did the original logo and then during a recent template redesign, the designer improved it for me. -

I did, and im very happy with it at the moment -
My web designer did, for branding and consistency's sake. I expanded the same look and feel to our Twitter and MySpace accounts, to keep everything uniform. -
It isn't fancy or anything but yeah, I did it myself.

I use my own designs also..
But the first objective is always spending minimum time on design things, bcs blogging means content for me. -
All mine are combined efforts. On my Jamaica blog all the banners are actual photo's I've taken in Jamaica and my son does all the photoshopping on them. I said "all" my banners because I switch the banner every month or so. Just to keep the look fresh and new. -
Kim Maki @ RetroKimmer.com designed the logo (header) and the layout for both of my blogs. She did an excellent job. I am very pleased with the look of my blogs.-
Gullacass the fabulous artist did ours and we are gorgeous of course!

My music blog doesn't have a logo, just text at the top. I created the header at the top of the music site that accompanies the blog in Gimp and will probably make a similarly styled one for the blog in the near future. -
my logo in my personal blog melvinblog.com has been done by a professional designer and on some of my niche sites, I have them outsourced as well...

I design all my own logos using the Gimp. It's like Photoshop, but it's smaller and it is free.

I tried Gimp and found it confusing. Admittedly, I am not a graphics whiz but I've used most of the major programs at one time or another and just couldn't get going with Gimp. I ended up with a freeware program called Paint.net. If you want to have some fun, try sTile. -
Yes, that's understandable. I couldn't wrap my head around Photoshop for a very long time, so I learnt GIMP first. I found it easier, and after learning that Photoshop was a sinch.

my logo was designed by logoangel.com and offered for free in exchange of a text link on one of my blogs. -
I made 2 of mine at Kaye's Place and at Pure Faith. I especially liked the flying eagle, took me ages to figure that out.
