The reason I'm asking is I have an idea for a group exercise and wish to gauge interest in the idea.

My idea is to make it a point over a set period of time to write posts that are 100% positive in wording in order to shift thought patterns. Participants would all read each others posts which should also have an impact on thought patterns.

Who's interested? How many days do you think this exercise should span in order to have an impact?

I actually already try to be positive in my posts. Given the subject matter, I figure folks who are interested in crafting etc., deserve better than hearing about my minor annoyances during the week.

    Unless, of course, they're funny.

I am a big fan of affirmations but not so much the positive thinking The secret type of thing....I like all posts because some where out there someone is going to go God I can relate to that and not feel so alone...but I honor your concept and I hope people participate because for some one it may be just the thing they need

    take care Robin J

It works. If you want to be control your thoughts and keep them positive, you want to look at everything with gratitude. I just went through chemo for breast cancer and I had many wonderful moments because I looked at everything with gratitude. It was hard when my finger felt like they were stuck in light socket for three weeks. The pain lingered on for another six weeks. Today, I wouldn't trade the experience for anything.
