anyone here have tried out BANS? Build a Niche Store? I just have recently purchased it and majorly edited it a lot

No haven't tried it, not bad for 97 bucks though.
I noticed you had to host it yourself 1 and 1 is not a bad host either, I have a clients bagel store on that host.
You did a bang up job BTW

  Thanks - I did a lot of customization since the script is user friendly out of the box - but I did not want to use the layouts they provided I wanted to create my own and so I did - just took me a while

  How is the income flowage for you two...just wondering, I might consider getting one but I am curious as to how well the returns are, I suppose it depends on how well you market the site...right?

  well I just started using it and made it and bought it purposely for the holidays - so I will check the stats on it soon - but I did some small marketing and I get about 100 uniques a day not bad so far - hopefully once I go hard today and tomorrow it will bang out on friday

I don't get it. How do you earn commissions? Isn't your store just links to existing eBay auctions? I kind of am concerned now, wondering if I decide to put more products onto eBay .. will I be paying extra commissions on the selling price to people like you in addition to eBay?

I used to have one of those GetEstores (GiftsEmall.com) but it took too much time, effort and money to promote it and I barely broke even. I gave that up.

I'm trying different things now, with ShareASale affiliations now .. under HARTmarket.com banner, with subdomains.

  it is an ebay affiliate - each link is an affiliate link linking to the ebay sales. you just have to register through cj.com to get your id

  waiting on the weekend to pass by - since this script took me a awhile to customize everything, I did not want to use the layout BANS provided, wanted to make it look unique

Have you read about commission thieves? I don't know if that's valid or just a way to sell programs to affiliate marketers honestly, but there's a lot of hype about it. Your site looks good. Maybe someone knows if commission thievery is a real thing or if cloaking your links is something worthwhile?
