      your link is too vague.

$100 a day? 36.5k /yr is a tidy bit of profit. I imagine server costs are a bit much, but still, after costs that's nothing to sneeze to at.
    1. BestWordpress
      Server cost is peanuts today
  2. sjay
joeyblogs its an interesting blog. lot of clues and help for online money
  3. hussyinterrupted
    I'd be happy with $100 a month.
  4. psychosolodiver
Not even close to $100 a month!

Since February, I've made almost $16.
    1. bohemian
Just like me.Since June,I have made $17.But there islight at the end of the tunel.
  5. weblogian
$100 is a big fat bucks, But I am on the run now for more
  6. bradhart
Making $100 a day is hard with 1 blog, making it with 50 to 100 blogs at your disposal is quite easy.
    1. Onlineguru
It's hard to update these many blogs. It's a tough task to maintain even a single quality blog
    2. bradhart
It isn't hard, it just requires you to be dedicated to the work. Once you learn how to blog replicating your work habits isn't hard. I could go the next six months and do absolutely nothing to the blogs I manage which now counts at 106 and they would make significantly more than $100 a day. Granted the business would fail but the the blogs would still be making money.

In truth you can pretty easily make a $100 a day with less than ten blogs working no more than fifty hours a week, which includes making comments on other blogs and researching your niche. Work smart not hard.
    3. sjay
bradhart...you got a valid point. It is really hard with one blog. 100 blogs need to be good quality blogs as well. otherwise still it will not be possible to make $100.

really nice ideas I like the " Work smart not hard " i think thats a the key
    4. bradhart
Wrong, the blogs don't have to be great, or even very good, only adequate for the needs of the reader. Too many bloggers who want to make money over think these things.
    5. sjay
Theres a point! First have to decide your priority. If you want make more money rest of the things will considered second.
    6. Sebastyne
I agree on the quality; to make a lot on AdSense you don't need quality content, which sometimes can work against you, you need good keywords and search engine status. Unfortunately most bloggers are in this for the love of writing, and lowering the quality of writing is not really an option.
    7. bradhart
I would disagree that most bloggers are in this for the love of writing they are in this for self indulgence and the belief that they have something important to say. If they got into this for the love of writing, there might be a focus on grammar and punctuation.
    8. CrisRo
I have to agree with Bradhart on this one. Although, I would attribute spelling and grammatical errors to the reason several blogs fail. Poorly written content doesn't turn many heads.
    9. Sebastyne
I stand corrected. I was just wondering about how can someone call himself a blogger and not be able to put together a reasonably coherent sentence.
    10. CrisRo
Though, a few of us are in it for the love or writing. Or because they got an exclusive IT contract, so they decided to use their domain for more than just an e-mail host. Then again, that might just be only me ^.^'

Right now, I'm getting approx 1 GB bandwith/mo, if the current trend were to level off now. If that were to be 1.5 GB of bandwith used over the course of a month, or more, then I would put ads up and use whatever earnings to upgrade my service.
    11. EntrepreneurNovice
There are not one single path: it depends on the person profile. If he/she's very good at writing, marketing, sure he/she can with a single blog. But if not, multiple blogs is the way to go.

In fact that's how I made 85$ per month with adsense, see here:
      www.adsensenovice.com/2009/04/dont-use-blogger-to-get-started-with.html

It's per month, not per day, now when you begin to understand the process, it's just a question of time ...
    12. MadameX
"In truth you can pretty easily make a $100 a day with less than ten blogs working no more than fifty hours a week"

I'm sure that's true, but why would anyone want to work 50 hours a week to make $700 before taxes and expenses? That's about $14/hour gross, and you'd clear less than you would at a $14/hour job because of expenses and self-employment taxes.
    13. MadameX
"If they got into this for the love of writing, there might be a focus on grammar and punctuation."

Have to disagree with this one, too. The "love of writing" isn't about grammar and punctuation--at least, not for most people. I definitely blog for the "love of writing" (only 2 of my 7 blogs even have ads on them, and my total earnings to date are 77 cents), and I don't believe that I've ever proofread a blog post. I could count on my fingers the number of times (out of hundreds of posts) that I've consciously thought about grammar or punctuation.
  7. coolbuster
i can't make $100 in one day. but I can make it in one week with my main blog. the rest earns at least $4 a day.

i have more than 10 blogs each with specialized topic.
  8. steveffeo
Yes but if you have five really great blogs or websites which have blogs you can make $100.00 per day. I have to add that affiliate revenue along with ad revenue will help you get there much faster.
    Peace
    Steve
    1. sjay
cool yea have to look for every possible ways!! spend less as well!!
    1. sjay
Nice template and ads are placed nicely.
    2. arshad
hello coolbuster. The blog template is very nice - looks professional.congrats.but i found that the blog traffic is low - alexa rank about 500000 - so is the CPC for your niche so high that you were able to get 38 dollars with some fewer clicks ?
  9. rainatee
Wishful thinking. Maybe some day .... soon!
  10. sjay
cool coolbuster... i visited the blog nice one and thats pretty good. You can make it $100 pretty soon i guess. wish you all the best.
    1. coolbuster
      thanks so much sjay
  11. sjay
After you start blogging Adsense might be a good one to start. Simple easy to implement and can be trusted. Then you can move to other affiliate programs that goes with your blog. It will be a good challenge
  12. aviewofthec
Thanks Sjay, it seems Wordpress doesn't currently support it - my Blogger one did.
    1. sjay
I am sure Wordpress is supporting it. May be you might have to copy and paste the Adsense code to your template. or there might be a some plug in. I know in blogger it is in built. Sorry I am quite new to wordpress as well. But I am pretty sure there should be a easy way to do it Wordpress is quite popular
    1. sjay
Thats pretty good Stegall $110 per week. You are can easily achive $100 per day I guess. And you prove that Adsense is not the only way as well. Cool keep it and wish you all the best ...
    1. sjay
I think the link is broken ... would love to go through your blog
    1. sjay
Nice and cool blog.. $5 per day is pretty Good...
    1. CrisRo
Is that pure profit, or is that before factoring in domain costs?
    2. sjay
thats nice ...wish you all the best for 10K/month goal. May be you can include tip and tricks in a blog as well
    3. mscoast
That is before factoring domain costs, however, I use a lot of generic domains with subdomains so my domain costs are actually quite low. Domains and hosting only runs me a couple thousand per year.
    4. CrisRo
I think you have capitalized off the 'blogging revolution'
    1. sjay
Not a bad idea ... may be starting your own brand.
  13. lesfriendly
lol. after 7 days, i have $0.07 on my google adsense account. wish there was room for more.
    1. sjay
Thats Ok. it is just 7 days ...it will pick up with time for sure if you work bit hard around it to built up and get more visitors.
  14. TigerXtrm
What are good alternatives to put on your site next to adsense, anyway? I have one block of ads now, will place another somewhere else soon. But I've always asked myself how other ad programs work and how they can work together with Adsense.

    www.backstagemedia.net
    1. sjay
It will be a good test!! I tried couple of affiliat programs but was not make anything. May be I brought it at the worng time. I will try couple of them later and see how it goes!
    2. coolbuster
bidvertiser and adsdaq. the latter has a ads rotator which can work with other ad programs, pretty cool. its in the sidebar.

      see these in my blog

      coolbusteratyourservice.blogspot.com/
    3. mscoast
Other ways to capitalize are using affiliates within your posts such as ClickBank, Commission Junction, Linkshare, etc. You can also do sponsored reviews if your blog focus allows it.
  15. wherethehellwasi
I could absolutely make $100 in a day from my blog. Probably quite a bit more. I'd just have to sell the machine it's running on.

But I could only do it once. And then I wouldn't have a blog any more.

Wait. What were the rules again?
    1. sjay
      ha ha ha funny...
  16. asosaki
Not yet. My goal is 10 dollars for now. Long term yes, even more than 100 dollars a day.
  17. jdh351
I have made ten cents in the last month with google and it is the first ten cents that I have made. I think I will be making a hundred a day soon. It won't be tomorrow or next week but I can wait. I want to focus on the writing not the income at this point.
    1. mscoast
You have got the right idea. You need content before ads. Building your content gets you traffic and traffic is the key to making more money. It does not hurt to look at some well placed affiliate links in your content for the time being, then you can look at monetizing the content through other programs such as Adsense and the like.
    2. sjay
True.... It is a good way to increase your income
  18. CrankyChick
I am starting to think that it would never happen for me. Sniff, Sniff, sniff
  19. Anok
    Oooh Oooh Oooh not me!!
  20. ivankirk12
after a day of posting ads on my page.... >>> $0.53 LOL

    100/day? wish i could.
  21. enigmaticxenquirer
Nope -- nothing at all. xD

Well, I'm fairly new to blogging. I don't really want to weigh my blog down with a lot of ads, and yet I have to cover the costs of hosting and whatnot somehow.

    It's a work in progress, I guess.
    1. sjay
yea you have good collection... it is hard to say which one going to pick up but I think you are doing something different. May be you will be able to put couple of affiliate programs related to Mixes, DJ stuff ...
  22. ModelElaine
there is no easy money on line. if anyone wants to make $100/day or more online, they have to make it a full time job and dedicate time and resources. You must have autoresponder, you must create freebies to have ppl sign up for your newsletter, you have to send out newsletters; you have to search for products to sell and affiliate programs that pay you enough to justify your time; you must own tools and pay for subscription; aweber subscriptions $20/mo; hosting fees -various; wordtracker subscription - $60/mo, AdWords - you set your limit, etc. It adds up and lots of aspiring online money making bloggers go BROKE and give up. It requires dedication, hard work and sleepless nights. Nothing is free
    1. CharlieHash
Seams that you have experience with all this.......
    2. ModelElaine
      @CharlieHash

Don't even get me started at how much I have paid for Adwords, various hosting fees, subscriptions etc. Also, to have a nice looking blog, one must own good software i.e. Photoshop - $600, MS Office 2007 - $200-$300, movie making software (to make youtube videos) - $60, video camera - $200 and I can go on....... we provide photo and makeup services for women from my photo blog.... there are also various business registrations fees involved, city taxes, business license, etc.
    3. mscoast
@ModelElaine. While I have all those programs there are plenty of free alternatives out there. Photoshop (get Gimp), Office (get Open Office), Movie making Software (Windows XP and above ships with Windows Movie Maker, and easily converted to Flash (for file size) through Video Web Wizard which can be purchased for a few dollars). You do not need a business license to run a personal, for profit, blog nor do you have to pay city taxes on it. None of that even comes into play unless you open an official business (commercial office space) and are warehousing your own servers. The only thing that is important is keeping track of your online revenue for tax purposes and most vendors 1099 you if you make any serious money with them.
  23. s32i4health
    Woow,its very hard...
  24. bloggernoob
not easy, but not super hard either. it can be done.
    1. sjay
true... I think it is good target.. at least you will end up $10 per day
    2. bloggernoob
ten bucks a day is real easy. the hard part is repeating that with 2,3,4,etc more blogs. Also, it's important to note that like all type of businesses, consistency is hard to maintain. your best bet is to get in good with search engines and by building up a lot of quality backlinks to individual pages on your blog. If you keep hammering that, you will be able to work your way up to 100 bucks a day from you blog/blogs.

Ten bucks a day is cake for real. I was doing that within a month of active blogging on bloggernoob.com www.bloggernoob.com/bloggernoobs-income-after-100-days/09/
    3. dratiffarid
Today.com pays you for each post. The highest a blogger made last month was $700.
  25. michaelogana
    not yet....but take a look at 6thsearch.blogspot.com
  26. ModelElaine
if anyone wants to make money writing, your best bet is to on elance.com and get paid gigs. Also you must check out how much other people charge for writing, otherwise you may set the bar too high or too low. Typically from what I've heard it's $10 per article of at least 250 words or something like that and don't get gigs for fewer than 50 articles; 50 articles - $500
  27. mscoast
If you want to make money from writing, put together niche related articles and sell them as PLR to other bloggers. Research your niche and keep good keywords in your content.

Be wary of posts in community forums like this as there is a lot of misinformation and a lot of people who simply want to sell you something. Making money online is not rocket science and it is not super hard but it does take dedication getting started. you have to learn your tools and stick with it - don't bounce around.
    1. asosaki
      Very good info Mscoast.
  28. grgnng
I would really like to make such amount, even though I have just started with my blog.

  39. momscashblog
I was making close to $100. a day when I first bought my blog, it has slowed down a bit since then but I'm now making up to $50. every other day. Finding the right keywords for the search engines is key!!

    IS it possible?I wish Icould.

what does this say? I see garbled on my screen?

      IS it possible?I wish Icould.
  41. aarron
I have done well off and on with some regular websites, but I don't make crud from my blog. I didn't really plan to make much from it, but I figured after a few months it would be making me at least a few hundred a month. Not happening.

I have not tried adsense or any other programs like it as it doesn't give me enough control and would clutter my blog. I just have a few ads from Commission Junction. That sort of thing has done well with my static sites.
I am doubting my blog will ever make even a couple hundred a month unless I sell advertising spots.
  42. chosenclick
i don't know if its possible.. but u can earn that much in a week.
  43. Gmil88
I'm earning a little more than that a day... sometimes less though

  52. weblogian
I am making ten time more than that these days
  53. BambiLashes
when I made 50 a day I wanted 75 now i make 100 I want 150 Im never happy, and people that say you cant make 100 dollars a day should know that there are many people people that make 10's of thousands each month from there sites, some do it with PPC and lots of lists, but it is doable, ya just gota keep banging out the content find a afffiliate program that will give you the tools you need, like custom banners templates and and tips and what works and doesnt. Trust me it's very doable.
  54. win2009
$100/day ohhh i want, but not easy. What we must have more to 10 blog to make it goal
  55. webdesignblogger
    who is earning?
  56. wahabnr
My blog was just 2 months old. I made few $1000 for selling watches thru my blog...hehehe..
  57. princetrunks
I make about $60-$100 a month in adsense, not $100 a day. My site gets about 100,000 page views per month with an alexa rank of about 120,000. In the end it's a numbers game and if you make the ads mix nicely with your content. Thing is, most people do not make $100 a day so watch for scamming spammers. A site with traffic about 30x mine or with about 3 million+ page views a month or about 100,000 page views a day has a shot at this kind of money. Check the alexa rank of the site of who ever claims to be making this $$ since they have to be around a rank of 50,000 or less. Anyone else is just blowing steam.
  58. alfrhnsby
I not understant about blog (new)
Is blog can be make money ?
    plss me !
  59. antharjalaya
Although there were days I earned closer to $300 a day from my blog it is very difficult to repeat the success. But I am happy I am averaging $1000 a month through out the past 10 month period.
  60. gandhihetami
hmm until now i didnt recieved good income from internet, im getting frustated
    1. sjay
Hmm it is not going to happened in one day. It will take some times. Need hardworking and bit of luck with smart ideas.

Online money depends on the traffic you get. I think thats true for all other kind of businesses. Without getting people into your shop you wont get much sales. Also it should not be your friends but people who are looking for your service or product. You need to build that first.

When I start this thread I was getting $0.05 or $0.00 per day from AdSense. Now I manage to get more over $5.00 per day.

      Do not give up.
  61. jijosunny
I am just making $200 a month from my blog mextena.com
I can't even think about making 100$ daily! It will be amazing
