Many people start a new fitness regime in the New Year, but why wait until January? Maybe we should start planning now. I am seriously thinking about buying some kettlebells to add a new dimension to my home workouts.

I started back down the gym a month ago, I used to be a weight lifter and quite big...that was three years ago and I am only 87kg now so want to be bigger again.
New years resolution is to carry on and get big again

Let me know how you get on. Do you want a training blog? If so, check out tlogs.motleyhealth.com/ - it is nothing flash, just a simple blog for people to log their fitness training

I work out at home, which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I get into moods where I work out very regularly, then there are times it's much easier to use the Bowflex as a laundry rack.
I guess I'll be rededicating myself to fitness come New Year's, but I hope I don't wait until then to get working on it

You could always do some training indoors instead - check out these circuit training exercises for ideas: www.motleyhealth.com/circuit-training.html

I've been trying to keep with the exercise routine I started over a year ago, I don't think I'm going to make any resolutions on starting a new exercise routine. I don't make new years resolutions anymore, best to stick with the goals I already have than create new ones that I never seem to be able to achieve! But I will have to set a new long term goal to exercise at least three days a week.

You have now motivated me to move the printer to the left side of the monitor and my pepsi and ash tray to the right side so that my other arm gets a li'l more of a workout.

I am planning on more hiking, hopefully I wont get trampled on by 80 year old mad ramblers next year. Those old folk are scary fit.

I can't seem to get to the gym when I am home..Lucky for me I am on the road 5 days a week and use the hotel treadmills..but that leaves individual muscle exercises an issue. I have worked with a trainer and he loves to do ab exercises. If you have a medicine ball or free weights you can easily incorporate some ab exercises at home or away.
So...I have started my treadmill program this last month but my new years resolution is to add other exercises.
