   MJ WAS the King of Pop. He's a ghost from the past now.
   
   Can't say who the King of Pop is now. To me, Pop means popular music, means whatever the top 100 songs are (without specializing in a certain genre).
   
   When I was a teenager we listened to Casey Kasem count down the top 40 songs each weekend. I'd say whoever is on the top 40 most often over the past year is the King of Pop.
   
   I'm an old fogey now, so I am out of touch.
   
   (runs away and hides before the MJ mob dressed as zombies comes to get me...)

   It'S soooo easy to say Justin Timberlake and others but the fact remains that Michael Jackson started it all off and they all got their ideas from him and credit should go to the original, not the copier.
   
   For the record, I am not a Michael Jackson fan, neither do I own any of his records but I can at least give credit to where credit was due. Even Michael I am sure copied his moves and ideas from other greats.

   It's soooo obvious that many copied Michael and even Britany Spears is imitating the same dance moves that Janet Jackson did years ago.
   
   Madonna is imitating Marilyn Monroe, Monkey see, monkey do.
   Very few are original and many are unoriginal, yet they get most of the credit and fame.
