Interesting. I'd never seen this blog... While not my idea of photography in the common sense, it is VERY eclectically cool!

While I won't quote you as my absolute number one favorite photographer Shutter - I will say I am TREMENDOUSLY impressed by your ability - especially of one so very young... And you are in my top favorites - just because of your gumption, talent and your inner beauty as well!

You are TALENTED - and in a few years - I expect, and suspect, that you will be amongst the most talented in the world... Especially if you keep going the way you are.

Teaching Photography at your age - at the college...

Sigh - I swear - I have not the talent you have in your little toe.

Keep on working and NEVER lose sight of the love that you have for your craft.

Very talented - very raw... I do like this... I still think there is another artist out there that could be AMAZING tho...

      I haven't found it yet...

But this photographer definitely is now in my top 3
    1. Shuttercraft

honestly the subject of my lens: that great pale whale, was so languid and beautiful, just hanging across my leg, really wonderful, i loved shooting her

You are going to get banned....
    2. wagerwitch
      rcal you are a troll...
  8. wagerwitch
To be honest - I must say that Roen - and you are currently part of my group of favorite artists as far as photography goes.

It truly depends on my mood - and the niche of the artist.

For example - Anne Geddes is a COMPLETE NICHE photographer.

    But she is VERY GOOD.

You Shuttercraft - are very good - and I hope that you CONTINUE and Grow - and TEACH.
    1. Shuttercraft
      Thank You!!!!
  9. rcal4848
to continue to grow and teach u have to question yourself, in order to become a good artist you must break down the boundaries that hold your eyes from seeing the true beauty. Developing your psyche so the world is like a lens. If you are doing that constantly, widening your perception. Then you are on the right track. O and why would u want me banned I thought we were friends. Jerk

I just googled Chase Jarvis and his work is just beautiful.

I am not familiar with a lot of photographers. I would have to go with fashion photographer Annie Liebovitz.

Her work is not groundbreaking or particularly artful compared to Chase Jarvis, but I like it.
    1. Stillthinking
I just googled his work and he has this hyper saturated color in his work. I love that. I can't get that kind of color in my work without photoshop.

I am sure it has something to do with the quality of the camera and pixels size, but I would love to achieve that sparkling clarity and gorgeous color.
    2. aningeniousname
Yeah I love his work it is very dream like I think. I always use that full saturated colour on my photographs, I like the effect.
    3. Stillthinking
I just photoshopped one of my Montmartre Cemetery photos

I can't believe how much better it looks hyper saturated.
    4. aningeniousname
That's very nice but I try to go ultra surreal and dream like. Like this one:
      4.bp.blogspot.com/_WAAmeb0Lr_w/SfRhSlor5tI/AAAAAAAAC-U/2aETADxc3iw/s1600-h/...
    5. Stillthinking
That looks like a lithograph it is so abstracted. Nice.
  11. aningeniousname
I just fully saturated it and then messed with the contrast and the light.
  12. MidwestMom
My favorite Midwest photographer is Larry Kanfer. He captures the space and solitude of this place really well.
